Another great shift for Malkin!
First the errand pass, then goes rover and offside on the breakout after dishing it to Kapanen.

When the Isle's 4th line outplays the Penguins 1st line you know it is going to be a long night.
The fact it is only 2-1 after the first period is amazing.

I understand that you can't let Edmonton's Duo beat you, but why are we letting everyone else just waltz through our defense with little to no pressure?

On another note, at the beginning on the year, we worked the puck around a lot more than we have been in the past couple of games. Now it's just a load of snapshots that all appear to go wide.

Cam Atkinson with his 15th career shorthanded goal. Now franchise leader in that category.

Shorty with the shorty.

Almost every shot Montreal took last night was from Longeuil. If they want to actually make a dent they need some finishers beyond Anderson.

Weber hits Denault and it goes in the back on the net.

This is going to be a long night.

2-0 Oilers

Another shot from Quebec City and this one almost kills Byron

They have a big advantage this season as their players are used to playing with very few people in the building.

Malkin has pretty much been a slug all season, but Zucker and Kapanen have been pretty invisible all night as well.
