The recency bias of some people is absurd. It's as if they have the attention span of a mouse's cock

He doesn't suck. He is simply not a top franchise QB. He is a decent QB with a great team around him.

I think a lot of people are questioning him because he was really bad when he needed to be good. When you go 3-11 in the 4th quarter of the SB, especially when you had a lead, people are going to question you.

Everyone wants to blame Shanahan for play-calling which is completely justified, but when the coach calls your number, as the leader of the team, you need to execute. That's what great QB's do. JG is not a great QB.

I don't think he sucks. His problem is his accuracy. It's not way off, it's just a little off. Balls always on the wrong shoulder, behind the receivers, ...

I think Jimmy G has been getting a lot better treatment than Kyle Shanahan.

Lots of people thought the Niners had the better team, it seems.

It seems to me that he did miss a couple throws, but for the most part the Chiefs put a lot of pressure on him. Maybe he sucks under pressure or when pressure is coming...but you don't get to the Superbowl by sucking at QB...you can get there with competent at QB...but not sucking

If only the Niners didn't spend a 2nd round pick for him

I am not sure who is saying he sucked. If you look at his entire body of work, he does not suck.

If anything, he sucked in the 4th quarter of the biggest game. That obviously is not good.

As I've said a lot of times, let's wait and see on the guy. He's barely got a full season of playing time under his belt. He could improve and be very good or he could regress, who knows. At 28, he will need to get better quickly though as he doesn't have the benefit of the 23-24 yr olds having time. His dowfield accuracy and pocket presence needs work and he has to quit panicking under pressure and throwing up lame ducks. Too much like Kirk Cousins right now but could end up being a very good player. Lack of mobility hurts in this era but with some teaching, just knowing how to manipulate the pocket can be enough to be successful.

I think he is maybe a worse version of Kirk Cousins until proven otherwise.

He is a one read QB essentially and not convinced he can win a game by himself

I've figured it out....... Bill traded away Jimmy G to get the 49ers to the Super Bowl but Jimmy G was under strict orders to not "perform" well so the Patriots could get him back on the cheap.... Yup, that's it!!

Rumors persist that Tom Brady will sign with the Niners.

jimmy certainly did not look good on those last couple of drives. maybe it was a fluke or maybe an indication that is just not a franchise type dude.
