Good lord... L. Jackson can't throw but he can sure make plays w/ his legs... It's not going to be sustainable but that doesn't matter for today...

Running QBs come in and set the world on fire all the time until defenses figure them out or they get injured (RGIII, Cam, C.K., Vick, and so on).

The only ones who have been able to sustain it long-ish term and still be great QBs were Steve Young & Aaron Rodgers.

I wouldn't be comfortable with Jackson going into the payoffs unless I had a top-3 defense.

On 4th and 3, though? Getting the first down on 4th and 3 seems more likely than making the 53 yard FG. The reward is greater too. Fresh set of downs to give you more chances for a TD or at least a more makeable FG.
