that plorst deserves a shot --- thank ya good sir
Lol, unfortunately I didn't proof read. My phone auto corrected that post. Should read, "That is the dumbest shit you have ever posted."

But if you're doing shots at noon on a Sunday, that would explain why you posted it.

Let's be real about AM though.

He's timid, indecisive, and makes bad reads.

I'd imagine at least a part of that is due to a piss poor o-line, but I'm not so sure AM would start for 50% of P5 teams right now.

What we did learn yesterday is that Vedral is the clear #2 over McAffery.

I thought once Vederal had to leave (helmet came off) and they had to burn one of McAffery's 4 red-shirt games. that we'd see more of him.

Well first of all they should have ran wildcat instead of burning when I McCaffrey's games secondly why in the holy hell were they running quarterback drop the middle with bedroll when Martinez just got hurt 3rd we need to do short quick passes with our wide receivers we have to get them the ball we have to start establishing a passing game this is getting to be ridiculous.

Martinez and spielman are both out Martinez has an MCL sprain and spilling as a knee injury. Honestly I think we just need to run more of a power until we get the offensive line to run a speedy up-tempo offense we're just not capable of doing it right now

Exactly.

They've won 4 more games (4-2) than they did in the first 6 games last season (0-6).

They finished last season (4-2). It's not too unreasonable to hope they can improve on that to (5-1).

Just get past Minnesota (no matter how ugly) then they'll have a bye week to get healthy, and won't play again until 10/26 vs Indiana in Lincoln.

Minnesota are not world beaters. Nebraska would be favored against every team Minnie's beaten.

AM has more upside than Vedral, but the way AM has played this season I'm not so sure he and Vedral aren't pretty much equal.
Vedral isn't timid or indecisive the way AM's been.
I think the Huskers cover that (-7) and could win straight up.

this on AM and Vedral. give a week of preparation maybe he'll make some throws that AM wasn't. AM has the higher upside as i think his arm is bigger and has more top end speed too, but Vedral played the run game so much better there in the 4th than AM did the other 3Qs.

our OL sucks. Jurgens should literally just practice snapping the whole damn practice and he needs to do it full damn speed, not just practice the snap. he sails them high when he needs to get out and block someone. i hate people that practice something but don't do it like its a game.

our coaches need to figure out something to get WRs open. there are worse teams out there that have crappier WRs that don't have this much trouble getting open. i haven't seen a slant all year or as far as i remember any crossing routes or rub routes.

jurgens sailing it on the Wandale TD. this guy pointing out positive plays happen on bad snaps. kinda points at the real crappy OL play. also it's easier to have a positive play if it's not an option play, not sure if this was or if maybe it was an easy give read.

Can we all pump the brakes a bit on the Martinez vitriol? We weren't saying this last year about him. I'd like to see him have good o-line play in front of him, snaps that hit him in the chest and receivers not named Spielman or Robinson actually get open before I throw the guy under the bus.

4-2 > 0-6

Because last year he was a true freshman and we expected growth in Spring and Fall camps.

It's either just a sophomore slump or he's already peaked out a la Taylor Martinez.

Could it be a sophomore slump? Could it be bad o-line play? Could it be receivers not getting open?

yes, yes and yes.

i agree on all 3 and i've said all of them. i've also said it could be a sophomore slump. but there are quite a few instances where he misreads the option (at least to my untrained eye) and the snap is fine. and his lazy attempts at carrying out fakes adds to it as well. also the numerous times he's not under pressure and doesn't seem to hit open receivers. yes they are having trouble getting open, but there are instances where it seems to me a guy with full control of the offense he should know on a given play when/where a guy should be open. He did it really nicely on a 3Q play hitting Wandale on a wheel route between 3 defenders in a zone. it's also where i feel the coaching staff could do more in helping him but maybe trying some different patterns or something, crossing routes or rub routes.
