So....apparently the word is mum at this point on Goedert.

If it’s something like a knee you can expect a wait of a day or more since an MRI has to be done.

But with an arm injury not hearing anything by the next day should mean??

Even with a small fracture it would seem they could X-ray it pretty quickly.

He was at practice this morning, sitting out but with no cast or anything on his arm. It doesn't sound super serious, fortunately.

That makes me think hyper extended elbow or something. The idea of him and ertz out there is pretty exciting.

Yeah, it could still be something fairly serious like that, but it is not broken. I suspect he suits up opening day. We have likely seen the end of "Philly" Goedert this preseason though. Keep that boy under wraps! He looks like the next Gronk!

Nice. Glad to see he is out there sans cast. I too have been all about the Ertz/Goedert combo and didn’t want to see it shown off too much in preseason.
This might just help that.....

He is fine, and will be back practicing soon! Wentz shows off velocity in today's 10 observations. Scroll down the article.
That's a relief! My son and grandson joined me yesterday at Training Camp. Fantastic!

I know that it's too soon to proclaim him an all-pro, but with Ertz, Goedert, Jeffrey, Agholor, Wallace, Sproles, Ajayi, and Clement, coupled with our top O-Line, I don't see any defense out there that can stop us! (That is - barring major injuries).
Can't wait 'til Sept. 6th!!

Here is another article from BGN: Update on the Dallas Goedert injury situation

Thank the lord he’s fine...

This kid is really looking like a player. It’s really early but the writers have been raving about him and he had a great half. This Offense would be absolutely incredible with a star to line up opposite of Ertz.

Still... the key to a big season to me is Sidney Jones. This team needs a star CB desperately and they are soooo hard to find.

We had a stud TE last year opposite Ertz. Goedert could become something special, and I sincerely hope he does. I'm a huge fan. But I will be surprised, if Goedert can be as good as Burton was last year, in what is his rookie year. Lets keep realistic expectations. We are going to miss Burton this year. I was screaming TE all off-season and am super glad that we addressed it with Goedert. GREAT pickup.

He had another nice game and almost had another TD... he has the early signs of a star

absolutely. And with a stud in Ertz, he has the benefit of going against lesser coverage as well. Burton really shined last year and had great hands. I love this 2 TE usage. I have been hollering for it since we had Smith and Lewis. Reid finally did it 1 game with huge success, and then just abandoned it. Unreal. Anyways.. just saying, keep in mind the kid is a rookie, and manage expectations.

I remember some nut poster on here that wanted to get rid of Ertz because he was soft and missed a block. Yea, who needs a TE that doesn't miss a pass in the entire season anyways!!
