He's written 14 book, including co-writing Frank Beamer's autobiography, along with 4 books about Ohio State football, and other books about Florida, Oklahoma, and Nebraska. Yet people on here call him some "Ohio State hack". Go figure.

Further, one has a deep public history at the highest level of sports writing in this country and a reputation to uphold. The other isn't someone anyone has ever heard of digging into things to protect his alma mater.

In before McMurphy obviously HATES OSU because of off color comments made 7 years ago after one of their prior scandals. I mean he sure knows how to hold onto hate for a hell of a long time before acting on it.

Snook specializes in writing books about a broad range of topics. 4 of his 14 are about OSU, but he's written about a variety of different topics otherwise that have nothing to do with OSU.

McMurphy was actually called out by Courtney's mom on his piece claiming texts from her. As soon as he verified he was called out he responded. I have not yet seen more from her in disputing what he claimed.

In other words, when actually called out by a principle of his story he backed his article up. Fully.
