Audi's are absolute shit. Known several people that owned them and those cars are always requiring repairs and having problems. They don't even look that great IMO.

Volvos make a really good product but they are known to be Mom cars... you'll have great resale opportunity but you are... driving a Mom car.

All in all I don't get people that drive BMW or anything foreign. Any repairs are CRAZY expensive and they are ridiculously marked up in the US. And EVERYONE fucking drives them, so... why?

If you're not spending $100K on a car, just get the Honda Nissan that someone mentioned and the $40K extra (and extra $1-5K per year you save in repairs/maintenance) can easily cover you for a lifetime of roofies/alcohol for chicks who wont care wtf you're driving when you get enough in them. Go for the normal roofies though. Some guy pushed me these plus sized ones, since bitches are getting so overweight these days and she was knocked out for 39 hours. Had to administer CPR twice and use a PTO day at work :(

A client had to Lemon Law his brand new Audi Q7 last year. It was so nice...blue with the saddle interior. Nobody at 2 dealerships could get the electronics to work...at all. Nothing worked.

I've had nothing but good luck with MB and BMWs. Even the old MB I had, if something broke you replaced it and it wasn't too bad. Everything was made to be easily replaced. I don't think they're designed like that anymore though.

Agreed. Lexus generally makes a quality product and their latest design looks good. The interiors are always really nicely done...

Lexus is foreign but it's Asian and a division of Toyota (which I think is decent regardless). Asian cars are econ cars and while the Lexus is luxury, it's nothing like the ridiculousness of BMW, Audi, or other European bullshit.

Relative was flirting with the lemon law on his Audi.

BMW is a decent car, don't get me wrong. The quality is pretty good. Problem I have with BMW is the car is overpriced in the US (because it's taboo) and maintenance on it is absolute 100% bullshit (what you pay). Little experience with Mercedes but I think they're a shittier car than BMW. Few relatives owned them, one was fine although it barely got driven, other was constant problems (but admittedly older). Mercedes too, you gotta spend a decent chunk to get one that's going to turn heads. BMW you can get away with $50-75K. Mercedes you need the S or Maybach class.

And @JuiceTheGator why the fuck are you buying ANY of these cars new? You can get brand new ones with < 35K miles, still under warranty, for almost half the price. Buying a new car unless it's like $15-20K (where depreciation/maintenance will be cheap) is a terrible idea unless they just don't have the option or model you want available anywhere... but that's rare.

Volvo is going all electric so I would stay away.

I would get a Nissan Maxima all tricked out.

You can buy any of these for under $50k is you're not stupid with options or a bad haggler.

Which one do you buy? Go...

1.Genesis G80
2.Lincoln Continental 2018
3.Audi A6
4.Volvo S90
5.Mercedes Benz C-Class
6.Lexus IS

Off the top of my head, meaning not clicking each link and seeing what options cost what...

Lincoln
Audi
Mercedes

But I like some options.
AWD if available. I drive to northern Vermont in the winter. AWD does not make a car handle or stop better, but it can make a car go up a hill in deep snow/ice better.
Sunroof, Nav, Cooled Seats, Remote Start, Backup Camera.

Kinda like that question, do you want the nicest house in a poor neighborhood, or the worst house in a affluent neighborhood.

I've had 2 and they are great cars. Current S4 is wonderful. Looks great too.

And for the record, I can't imagine owning anything domestic ever again.
