Not really.

And he was still a top fantasy player his first year.

100% really. I think people wanna overlook TRich as a prospect because of how badly he busted but he was probably a better prospect than Zeke.

In ppr there are tons of WRs that put up points each week.

I'll start a slot guy from the waiver wire and get 6-70, while you start a crap RB that gets 40 yards and nothing else. We'll both get 20 points from our 1st round pick.

You say that yet its not how it works out. I can find plenty of RBs to fill the lineup. And ill need fewer anyways since I can plug the flex with a WR. Without a doubt moving to ppr helps WRs more than RBs.

Plus WRs get hurt less and last longer which is big in dynasty.

Nut case.
Injury prone.
Next QB unknown.

Too risky for top 5.

Never been in trouble + a large amount of the games most dominant receivers ever have been divas

Not injury prone, not sure where that comes from.

A 25 year old dominant player is the opposite of risky. Id argue OBJ is the number 1 overall dynasty asset in PPR and at least top 3 in standard thanks to his low risk as much as his high upside.

No fucking way. Enough about you being fooled by Richardson now. He never made it on to any of my teams and is completely irrelevant here.

How many points did he get for you last year?

Why not?

Take off the giant hater lenses for a moment, Beckham has dominated the game and is still super young. Eli hasn't been anything more than blah since Odell got there, so very little possibility next QB is worse.

And this is PPR dynasty, if that doesn't change your rankings, you're doing it wrong

I'm not sure how we got to there..

But, no, he wasn't hyped anywhere near what Zeke was. He may gave been touted as the best of the class, but it wasn't to that level. Revisionist history to say otherwise

Eli played pretty bad last couple yrs.

3468yds and 19TD without Beckham, that's Flacco territory. it doesn't get too much worse than that.

We shall see though, can't be too many yrs left for Eli at this pace

Trubisky says hold my beer.:D
A rookie QB can make a bad Eli look good.

Denver would've killed to have Eli..even this past offseason. Clev, Buff, NYJ, all are currently worse, (yes im not putting a rookie QB ahead of a multiple super bowl winner who still hs a heartbeat) and teams like Jax, Denver, Balt, Miami..could easily be argued as worse QB situations.

I mean... you can just wish it away all you want but its still true. Richardson was 100% an amazing prospect who was widely regarded as the next big thing... just like Zeke and Saquon.

Thats not how injury prone works...

If it is then every player in the NFL is considered injury prone.

Its a contact sport. When somebody slams into your planted ankle at high speed for the second time in a couple weeks you break your ankle. To suggest that is some kind of flaw in Beckham that that happened is insane.

It is not revisionst history at all. TRich was on that level. He may have been a bit overshadowed by being in the same draft as luck and rg3 but he was considered a crazy good prospect. He was getting the best prospect since AP treatment just like those other guys. And considered the best prospect in that draft outside Luck and RG3. (Speaking of - RG3 is amother reminder of how badly great prospects can go wrong).

In all honesty i think Saquon and Gurley were the best 2 weve seen recently but Gurleys knee knocked him down, Trich was next, and Zeke after that. Zeke going to Dallas built the hype up a bit more.

It's pretty unlikely honestly. Eli looks barely competent when he HAS obj to throw to. Without him he's a complete disaster. I think it's more or at least as likely that OBJs QB situation improves in the near future than gets worse.

I'd get into the QB debate, but after 20 years of Todd Collins, Alex Van Pelt, Doug Flutie, Rob Johnson, Doug Flutie, Rob Johnson, Kelly Holcomb, Drew Bledsoe in quicksand, J.P. Losman, Trent Edwards, Brian Brohm, Ryan Fitzpatrick, E.J. Manuel, Thad Lewis, Kyle Orton out of retirement, to finally arrive at Tyrod Taylor and chuck him like he is one of the above...gets me in a mood.

Yeah, Eli is pretty good.

Yeah, Eli is pretty good.

WAS good*

OBJ saved his career.

On a seperate but related note Eli is super overrated over his entire career but I'll agree he was solid in his prime.
