Sounds an awful lot like the "They lost to Pitt and gave up a bazzilion points, they aren't that good" stuff we heard in the month leading up to the Fiesta Bowl a couple years back and we saw how that worked out.
Except this is about your QB. You had an all-world QB back then. You absolutely don't now, unless you start someone other than Bryant. Not an awful like that at all.

You're wanting to penalize Clemson because they had to play a significantly tougher opponent in bowl season. That doesn't make any sense to me. Clemson was #1 in the CPU's and had a better efficiency before playing Alabama.
Fine, let's take away OSU's game against Oklahoma if we're taking away both teams' toughest games and then compare efficiency.

The only problem behind your logic would imply it would have been better for Clemson to lose another game during the regular season, play a worse team in bowl season, beat them, then compare the two. It's hard to compare teams when one made the playoff and one didn't.

This would be like touting a team that made the first four in the tournament, lose, and compare them to a team that advanced in the NIT.

Our all-world QB wasn't what shut out the Urban Myth offense

Except that if Syracuse lost another game, their efficiency would've gone down even more than it already did, and they might have 1 more quality win, but it still wouldn't have been as many as Ohio State had.

Durr Ohio State's offense wasn't very good that year. Way to deflect and try and jab at my team just because you know I'm right.

It was an even better Clemson defense last year against essentially the same Suckeye one dimensional offense. What do you think would have happened had you met Clemson again?

Both Clemson and Ohio State had 3 wins against the top 25 entering bowl season. Both Clemson and Ohio State had two top 10 wins entering bowl season. Ohio State played USC, Clemson played Bama. I really don't understand how one can conclude Ohio State being better than Clemson last year. You even said you were fine with Ohio State being left out. What gives now?

And they got slaughtered. It doesn't take much to look up his numbers and see how far behind the rest of the top QBs in the nation he is. He just isn't good, and if anything, he held them way back last year.
Slaughtered by the team ranked above them. KB don't need to be a top QB, he did his job in taking a young team that wasn't suppose to make it back to the playoffs after Watson left. Against teams like OSU, he only needs to get them into FG range. Just remember that same D-Line you saw 2 years ago is still here.

I was fine with them being left out. It doesn't at all mean they weren't a better team than Clemson. If they had played them during bowl season, I think it would've been a low-scoring game, but I think OSU would've won. The disparity between their defense and ours wasn't as big as the disparity between our offense and theirs.

Cool. And the same offense you saw from OSU isn't there. Going into this season, Clemson's defense isn't that much better than Ohio State's. You guys probably have 3-4 first rounders on your DL. OSU has 3. We have made it pretty clear under Meyer that our LB/secondary just reloads with studs every year, and this year won't be any different.

That said, Kelly Bryant is a 1-dimensional QB. Haskins isn't, and our skill position players are better than yours. If you plan on just settling for FGs, be ready to lose by several scores.

OSU was dramatically better on offense last year than they were in 2016, and Clemson was dramatically worse on offense than in 2016. Stop spouting off like you know anything.

LMAO Like you know anything.

The Urban Myth has faced Clemson twice and lost both times. The first time the Brent Venables defense beat your QB up so bad he hasn't played QB since and probably still has convulsions anytime he sees the #33. The second time it shut you out.

If they were a better team/more deserving they would have been in the CFP. It's not as if Clemson played a bad schedule and made it. They arguably had the toughest SOS of any team that made the CFP.

Cool. Still doesn't change my mind. Again, being selected to the CFP is an entirely subjective process. That means it's 100% based on opinions.

Coming up with stupid little nicknames just makes you look dumber.

Congrats on your 1 impressive win against us, and congrats on an amazing game back in 2014, that was a really fun game to watch either way.

So you don't think Clemson should have made it? Lmao
