ive always enjoyed the orioles park. I like seeing it on tv, I’ve never been there tho.

Should be an interesting series you have some winnable games with the all star break and trade deadline looming.

We had a really easy schedule there for a 2 to 3 week stretch and won several games. Now the worm has turned and the schedule has gotten harder. Once we are past this next series with the Orioles and the All Star break we have a stretch where 33 of 37 games are against teams with winning records. Those teams average a little more than 13 games over .500 right now. Many of those games will probably be played with us having a much lesser pitching staff. By the time we finish this stretch we might be more than 20 games under .500, maybe even 25 games under. Maybe something like 55-80 as a record going to the last day of August. It isn't going to be pretty.

After that stretch we only have 9 games left for the remainder of the season with teams currently below .500.

Banny is trying to keep the streak alive.

It makes me think the rangers are going “all in” to take any sliver of momentum they can get for trades this deadline.

Hopefully hamels has a good start against the Orioles.

Perhaps the only amusing stat from last night came from Norm's show today. The Boston coaching staff had more at bats against Colon than their entire 25 man roster.

Choo is dealing with a quad issue and can't play the field well right now.

As soon as I typed it I considered going back and changing it to acknowledge that he's not great even under the best conditions.

I would have been curious about what this article had to say. Not sure where it was leading with the step forward but I have for the past month seen an improvement in Odor's approach at the plate and willingness to hit the ball where it is pitched. Can't say the same for Gallo.

Banister caught some grief on Around-the-Horn today re: the great controversery: Choo vs the streak and the Boston Red Sox.

It's the old, 'Eastern Press' at it again to me.

It seems even our local media has doubted Banny's explanations to some degree.

Was wondering the same thing. Haven't seen messages that gotten thru to Gallo.

Hard to think they have any long range plans for Gallo.

It's about time for Mr Gallo to realize 'it's time for him to start thinking about how he's about to squander his career.' And not with just the Rangers. No one needs a guy who isn't willing to work on what is obvious to the entire league a rather huge flaw, which has gotten worse.

Imagine having his opportunity when we were his age. I know I would be busting my butt to be the best I could be.

Maybe he will turn it around. Let us hope so.

Absolutely.....I believe we all want Gallo to succeed b/c if he does, it's high cotton for all of us; especially him.

But it bothers me considerably how his attitude seems to be so set on doing it his way, and the hell with anyone who doesn't agree with it.

On the same subject, you saw what the Astro's did with Giles after his latest ass-showing didn't ya?

Yea, I was post about it. Sent him to AAA for cursing out his manager, when he took him out of the game.
