without looking, if your argument is that Nebraska was equally as relevant as Michigan -- then Nebraska was relevant. Harbaugh was a judgment call away from a playoff birth in his second year....so....that's pretty darn relevant.
You still would have needed to beat Wisconsin the BigTen championship game that you barely beat at home.

I agree the high school kid could be an option. I guess my point is they're so stacked everywheee else, especially on defense, they don't need a guy to be Baker Mayfield.

I hear ya. They are definitely loaded. And if they do get back to the playoffs like they’ve been doing and they get at the very least good quarterback play, they will be awfully tough to beat.

You and that Michigan St. fan have to be two of the worst smack talkers on this board. Pump up your team for fvks sake. Find a poster on here who's team is ranked lower than yours and start giving him some shit.
Nooooo, that would be me. IF we ever win a game, you guys will be subject to the worst smack talk in the history of the hoop!

Not all of us jump on our teams bandwagon when they are good. I sat through many shitty seasons and can’t tell you the last time they didn’t have a “what the fuck” loss in a season.

You mean the team Michigan dominated otherwise?

13 more first downs, 190 more yards and 2 fewer turnovers. Wisconsin's only scoring drive was set up by a 46-yard interception return to Michigan's 31 yard line. Michigan also whiffed on 3 field goals.

Rematches favor the team that loss. Michigan fans want to tell me how Michigan dominated MSU in the 2015 game but every stat except punting yards contradict that.

Pelini was "a judgement call away" from winning a Conference Championship in his second year. Alas, no championship.

Has Hairbawls won a Conference Championship? I didn't think so.

Pelini won 10 games in his third season. Hairbawls won 8. Nebraska was irrelevant and so is Michigan at this point.

Maybe. We were #3 playing #2 OSU at the time. If we beat OSU it's likely we'd be ranked #2 going into that B10 title game. We already beat Wisconsin earlier in the year, so even a loss to the #6 team that we already beat might not have dropped us out of the top 4.

So then Nebraska was relevant. Thus, your argument is wrong.

Did Michigan win the CCG? No
Did Michigan even play in the CCG? No

Was a "judgement call" what kept them out of the playoff? No

Wisconsin would have obviously jumped you. Clemson would have jumped you with you having two losses, Alabama was already ahead, and Washington would have jumped you.

He’s talking about the spot that gave Ohio State a first down and eventually win the game and gave Penn State the tie breaker to the CCG.

I never mentioned anything about Ohio State?

Overall, Nebraska was irrelevant.
Currently Michigan is irrelevant.

That you think one game (based on a judgement call) establishes relevance is a fucking laugher.

We fundamentally disagree then. If your team has a chance to win conference championships or play for a national title at the end of the season, then you're definitely relevant to the CFB landscape.

Michigan lost it's consolation prize bowl game anyway, so it's irrelevant.

Yeah. I was talking about the one second put back on the clock that enabled tejas to kick a FG and win the Big 12 CCG.

"Tejas went on to play in the NCG. Nebraska should have played in the CCG". That is MaizeandBlew mindset.
