Chris Kunitz knows lol...

we sure this it was the coilers? seems like the type of guy Benning would give 4 years to lol

/
my son played ball hockey last summer on the same team as the son of Chris Kunitz cousin. Dude came to games wearing Penguins tshirts and ball caps. He looked just like Chris Kunitz only with an additional 150 pounds

I think the lure of playing with McDavid is pretty tempting, especially given his history with Crosby. Even though Kunitz is getting up there age wise, he's still got pretty good wheels (especially compared to Lucic). When an aging and beat-up Sekera is your best defenseman, no surprise that Kunitz turned down the Oilers.

Looks like the league is trying to get the Oilers out of the draft lottery by giving them the easiest schedule (as far as facing tired teams are concerned):

They always put these charts out pre-season but never put out the records of how these teams did in these games after the season.

Yeah, although the Oilers had their best season in a dozen years when they had also had a cupcake schedule like the one that is upcoming this season.

I would be willing to bet a team that has an equal number of red games vs. blue games will win this year.

Holy shit, Nicholson seriously touted the signing of an old Euro goalie and a career minor leaguer as things to be excited about?

I know they didn't do anything else this off-season and will 90% be fucking brutally horrible again but that's like writing a letter to the Ministry of Transportation about the bridge in your town that just collapsed despite years of warnings that the bridge is about to collapse and them replying with news of some potholes being filled.

In case you're forgotten how many Stanley Cups the Oilers have won, they've put it on a patch as part of their jerseys for next season - Nobody lives in the past like the Edmonton Oilers and their fans.
