Hopefully Sark appeals.Judge Rules USC Doesn't Owe Steve Sarkisian Anything in $30 Million Lawsuit
An arbitrator reportedly ruled the University of Southern California does not owe former head football coach Steve Sarkisian any money after he sued the school for wrongful termination.
TMZ Sports reported the news, noting Sarkisian—who is now the offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons—sued the school for $30 million and said USC fired him for alcoholism instead of helping him.
The coach said alcoholism was a disability going by California law, but the arbitrator ruled the laws "[do] not insulate the failure to control a controllable disability nor afford an employee a second chance to control a disability in the future.
Why? He swore up and down he didn't have a problem. Refused help, they said ok e will let this one go and was told another incident and he'd be gone. Once the play on the field was crappy and disorganized and word got out that he was drunk on the sideline he was terminated. Claiming after the fact that he had a problem did him no good. Thankfully.Hopefully Sark appeals.
And the two that stand out are UCLA has no business sucking as bad as they have and Utah really shouldn't be as dangerous as they have been. Based entirely on perceived value of players recruited anyway.

UW's is a bit deceiving as it relates to their ranking now in that they had a good stretch in the mid 2k's where they weren't really recruiting up to their potential with a down program. I'm sure if a similar graph came up for just last 10 years it would look vastly different.
It would shock me if that wasn't the case.I thinks it's been noted a few times in articles I've seen that UCLA is #1 as the school who's done the least with the amount of NFL talent they have had.
With that said, could you imagine coach Whitt at USC or Stanford with the talent they have. But it goes to show what he has done with the talent that wants to go to Utah. And the two that stand out are UCLA has no business sucking as bad as they have and Utah really shouldn't be as dangerous as they have been.
