Dodgers make the most sense. Especially since Machado is a shortstop now, not a third baseman.

Reports are coming out now that the Dodgers and Brewers want him and are the "most" serious contenders.. I think the Phillies backed out already

Braves, Brewers, Indians and Diamondbacks just need to back away now.

With the Orioles asking price, the only way trading for Machado would be worth it is if you can sign him. Cubs, Dodgers and Phillies have a shot to sign him, the rest of the suitors have no shot. If you trade for him and then he walks, you'd have to win the World Series for it to be worth it.

Dodgers. Heard the Brewers are in on him too, can't see that happening.

Phillies would be big players if he wasn't already insisting on testing free agency.

He's gonna go to free agency and he's gonna get a huge payday.

It's why I hope the Braves don't get him. We'd have to give up real prospects to get him and there's a 0% chance he signs next season, and he's a shortstop now and we'd make him play third and knowing him, he'd pout and be a distraction about it.

If we're gonna trade for a rental from the Orioles, I want Zach Britton.

The Brewers.

You really want to gut your farm system for a rental? There's a zero percent chance he signs with the Brewers after the season.

Dodgers or Cubs are really the only teams in the running that have a shot at signing the guy after the season.

Remember when the Brewers rented Sabbathia a few seasons ago.

Where they were first round playoff exits and Sabathia signed with the Yankees, and then the Brewers had back to back losing seasons afterwards and watched Michael Brantley become a really good player with the Indians? Yeah, I remember.

Was it worth it?

Probably to the NL, those teams are all chomping at the bit to get swept in the WS.

True, but I bet Hazen(GM for the Dbacks) regrets not going after JD Martinez a little hard to resign him. If they do get Machado, I'd bet they would find away to keep him and not let another power hitting get away like what happen with Martinez.
