I heard his interview with Bill Simmons. He came across as intelligent and well-spoken.
I think at least a significant portion of Kyrie's "crazy" opinion(s) is pot stirring.

He may also have a bent towards being a contrarian... who knows?...

... I personally don't care... it's harmless and mildly amusing.

There will probably be speculation about Kyrie leaving all next season. If the Celtics can find the right trade get him outta Boston.

Trade Kyrie to the Spurs for Kawhi. Win/Win.

Spurs declined that offer apparently. Shit, I would too. Kyrie’s injury is a serious issue, way more serious than Kawhi’s. Seems to me Kawhi has been healthy for some time. One more injury for Kyrie and he could be done for good

I don't disagree... for the right trade.

I would personally like to see a truly "positionless" starting five... one that could switch almost anything... the C's are oh-so-close to being there.

That being said... Kyrie is a very good player and I'm not looking to unload him just to unload him.

I don't like the fella but I don't want the Celtics to deal him just to deal him. When healthy he can play. And I would like to see what the Celtics are going to look like w/ a healthy Irving & Hayward. I'm for anything that helps improve their chances of raising an 18th banner.

Word.

The C's offense should be sick. They'll have 4 to 5 guys on the floor most any time who can shoot, drive or pass at a high level... no one focal point, no bread and butter... no one thing for an opposing defense to key in on and try to take away...

... oh yeah... they have the best defense in basketball, too.

They will be exciting to watch next year. I'm looking forward to it. Alotta talent on that team.

The Celtics are going to be very good next year. I do think that a lot of people are making way more of their post-season run this year than they probably should but there is no question that they are the presumptive favorites to win the East. Assuming health for all teams, the only team that I think can challenge them is the Sixers.

Now hold on a mo....you still have Karl Anthony Towns. This Carl Anthony Towns fellow...well...I couldn't really find out anything about him. A little help, OP?

What Boston in general and Jayson Tatum in particular did during the post-season... with 2 all stars injured, mind you... is pretty damn great...

... I think more should be made of it, frankly.

Better somewhat under the radar, though... in the grand scheme of things.

They played really well. But the results are not necessarily indicative of expected performance. Maybe Aaron Baynes' 48% from 3 shooting in the playoffs is more indicative of his shooting skill than his 14% regular season 3 point shooting.

Yeah... that Aaron Baynes thing with the 3 pointers was nutz.

But why make Baynes the focus over the maturation and output of guys like Tatum and Brown?

Tatum is only 20 and he was doing that in the playoffs.

Tatum looks to be a star. Brown could be an all-star as well.

But you can't assume that Tatum's playoff performance is his new floor. He's still very young. And it remains to be seen how he will perform when Hayward and Kyrie are on the floor.

I disagree. That definitely is his new floor...

... we're not talking a fluke game or two here... he was putting up performances night after night on the biggest stage (playoffs)...

Now, his offensive numbers might have a ceiling given Boston's team approach to things... but we saw the guy emerge as a player and there is no putting that genie back in a bottle. That's my take.

Brown was more inconsistent and still has tenative moments... I'm not ready to give him my full endorsement yet as a bonafide stud... I still love him and his potential, though.

He should go back to Cleveland and win another ring without LeBron.
