not a smart idea of kyrie to say that after how great rozier played in the playoffs

rozier just played great in the playoffs and the celtics fans love him

kyrie was just hurt again and there are rumors of him going to brooklyn or new york

he is gonna have a ROUGH year in Green if he does not play his ass off.

Dude. You really think Rozier is a threat to Kyrie?

Rozier was a disaster in game 7.
Let’s not even begin to compare talent levels.
Kyries knee is the huge issue.

How do you bank on him staying healthy?

Kyrie played great last season in Boston (when healthy)... there is no reason whatsover (apart from health) to suspect he will play anything less than great next year... especially since it's a contract year.

But....

There is reason to worry about Kyrie's health and his long term commitment to the Celtics.

Sure... no doubt... I was just responding directly to the tripe that we should worry about Kyrie's play or hustle next season... ridiculous (apart from health concerns).

Trade Kyrie to the Spurs for Kawhi. Win/Win.

It's an interesting idea... I think San Antonio would want additional assets... which would be fine if we're just talking draft picks, I assume... but would not be fine if we're talking Jayson Tatum or even Jaylen Brown...

... the C's are not gonna give up their big young pieces for a disgruntled, moody, injury risk? (C's haven't seen his medicals yet) Kawhi rental.

Around a year ago, Wiggy had Kyrie as one of the top 3 guards in the league or something ridiculous like that. Now he’s got him barely able to beat out Terry Rozier for a starting spot?

If a player is on the Cavs, he uses his #wiggytalentmultiplier to compile his rankings.

Zizic has decent size and coordination... but he is more an old school 5 in a league that is increasingly moving away from old school 5's... he is a defensive liability, especially when he is forced to switch.

i think he is a helluva backup plan in case Kyrie's injury woes resurface or Kyrie decides to go elsewhere.

I remember i read articles making fun of the cavs front office, comparing the "superior" spurs front office for playing hardball with Kawhi. Now look at what a cluster fuck they have. Cavs ended up with young prospects, a lottery pick and other 1st round picks. Spurs might get a 1st rounder if they are lucky

Yep. There are a ton of these guys around the league. Every fan base that has one talks about how much upside they have, but ignores the fact that they just don't in the current era. Bigs need to be able to move their feet defensively.

Boston fans are seeing that this dude is trouble and if he leaves they get nothing for him. Still gotta see if he can make it on the court. A baller on the court, but over the last couple years nothing but trouble. Will he ever be happy? What could possibly make him happy? Lol

Excellent points. He wanted out of Cleveland because he wanted to go to a team that would be "His" Team. He never forsaw Jaylen Brown or Jason Tatum becoming the big threat to "His" Team. He certainly never thought his knee would shit the bed either. Terry Rozier showed him that he could not only take his place during the season, but could step up and play up i the playoffs.

Now, the Celtics will not be "His" Team. Time to move on. Jimmy Butler and Kyrie have been trying to find a way to get together and play together.

Simple question...."If both end up in New York, this year or next, will it be 'Kyrie's Team'?"

Earlier this week, Kyrie Irving pissed of a huge portion of Celtics fans. He mad a very stupid statement and then tried to rectify it. His first statement was that, 'he would consider going to the New York Knicks in 2019.' Immediately Boston started screaming at Danny Ainge to ship his ass out and get a bag of peanuts or even a bag of chocolate raisins. Kyrie started to feel the backlash and immediately added a second piece to his statement............"If I can't stay in Boston."

Damage is done. Fans are starting to want his ass gone.

Before his New York comment, Kyrie was spouting off about wanting to play with Jimmy Butler, who was mouthing off about how poor Carl Anthony Towns' attitude is and how he's gone after this season if the Bucks don't try to trade him. Where does he want to go? LA? Nope, New York.

Maybe Ainge should put all of his effort into moving Kyrie to the Knicks this summer..........
Why would he want LA? He asked to be traded from Cleveland because James was there.

FYI: James is now in LA.

They actually are the poster boys for offering up too much for a player (Melo) they could've had for free in free agency just a few months later. Then again, there's been a lot of front office turnover since then.

Kyrie, Butler, Knox, Porzingis; sounds like a nice core to build around to bring the Knicks back to contention.
Think it's more likely he ends up on the Nets.
