There are few moments where i remember where i was at that time(6 that i can count)

This is one of those times.

My brothers apartment in the heart of downtown Victoria. It was getting late and i cant remember if had to work the next day or not.

The 2nd for that playoff run was the Stansion goal

Did Travis Green just fire a shot at TSN's Mike Johnson?

The Vancouver Canucks have been criticized for adding three veterans on contracts with term to their youthful roster in free agency.

TSN Hockey Analyst Mike Johnson called four-year deals for 32-year-old Jay Beagleand 28-year-old Antoine Roussel "nonsensical," while the team also added centre Tim Schaller, 27, on a two-year contract.

Canucks head coach Travis Green, however, believes the signings will help relieve pressure off the team's young core, especially when it comes to the penalty kill.

“Our penalty killing was up and down,” Green told the Vancouver Province. “We’ve added some players which is, I think, important. We need guys who can kill penalties.

“The longer you’re in the league, the better the penalty killer you are. Some won’t understand what that means, but there’s a lot of reading plays, and making changes on the fly that you get better at over time.

He wants to sign with the Canucks and it sounds like the canucks want to sign him. Its been mentioned in the cesspool Hughes wants to give Michigan the final word on whether he is leaving within the next couple weeks. Theres a logjam of bodies on d for Vancouver and Benning wants to thin the herd ( lotta options as many on d seem to have mad cow disease :noidea: )

Probably someone told Benning this lol ... but ... its easier to make a trade before signing Hughes because after you sign him other teams will know you have to trade a dman and offer you less
