True.

But there is a big difference between offering a big long term deal and a short term one.

It would have been reckless to pay Cousins a full max deal. But 20-25 million for 1 year? Teams should have been jumping on that. If he isn't right, young move on. If you don't like his impact in the locker room, you move on. But you get the opportunity to add an all NBA talent at a steep discount on a short deal. I think there are a lot of teams around the league regretting their decision in not kicking the tires on Boogie.

What team is contending has 25 mil to spend and can afford Boogie to bust? This seems like a win win for GS and Cousins. The problem is not enough teams want to win this year.

Great, why wouldn't they? If the lakers did it nobody would be bitching

The goal is always to get better

You've been making more and more sense since Lebron left Cleveland. Please stay this consistent.

He hasn't helped his teams win anything of note to date, and that was when fully healthy. Achilles injuries affect your play even beyond the supposed recovery period, just ask Kobe and Wes Matthews.

Theres a long list of top players who dont even make the playoffs some years.
Has any team he’s been on been better without him?

As far as the injury, of course, but its no risk to the Warriors.

Nobody blames GS dude...

The topic is pertaining to how this affects the sport. We all understand GS just acted to make themselves a better team.

I hear the Warriors are in discussions to add Jesus Christ.

I dunno. He's not as good a shooter as the guys they have on the court, despite his ability to miracle.

And yet ratings and profits were extremely healthy last year and will be again.

We all knew the Bulls were winning every year we still watched. We all knew the Lakers and Celtics were winning every year in the 90s, we watched.

That's what is missing, a true rival. I really wished Kawhi went to the Lakers with LeBron and PG. Maybe next year Kawhi goes there.

...and yet they didn't win. Only 1 Finals appearance between them.

Option 2. Boogie Cousins is one of my favorites in the league and if he's healthy all season I think the Warriors go 82-0. Still this move really ruins the competitive balance in the NBA.

anyway kobe comes back to play with lebron?
No - I don't think so and I hope not, because He said once that he would refuse to stand for the National Anthem which would really piss me off. I think he is happy with his production company and outside interests.
