I don’t blame them for doing it but it does hurt the league

It looks bad for the league but I don't think the Warriors will be able to keep him long term. If he returns to form after the injury, he is going to want to get paid.

Overkill, but still better than watching players kneel.

There's a bunch of front offices that need their asses kicked, let them catch their breath, and then kicked again. That's my thoughts

Why? Only about 4-5 teams can even compete by adding him. The rest of the league just hurting their draft position

As a casual fan these days....I can't blame Cousins or GSW. It makes sense. He took less to take his time rehabbing and could win a ring. GSW got better and will win a ring.

However, I just lost interest in the season. Knowing they will be there in the Ship again and more than likely win, just doesn't interest me this yr. I'll prob watch a couple games (Celts), some playoff game when the Eastern Conf is one...then prob pass on the Championship series like I did this yr.

Die hard fans will stick through it, and that is awesome...but as a casual fan, it sucks.

They only want him this year. It's a perfect match.

And yet ratings and profits were extremely healthy last year and will be again.

We all knew the Bulls were winning every year we still watched. We all knew the Lakers and Celtics were winning every year in the 90s, we watched.

That's what is missing, a true rival. I really wished Kawhi went to the Lakers with LeBron and PG. Maybe next year Kawhi goes there.

You're a Dubs fan now? And still Cavs? But not Lakers? I'm so confused.

They're still not a contender. If they can somehow negotiate a trade for Westbrook or possibly get Jordan out of retirement, it's a good move.

That's the reason for him signing one year - chances are he won't play until after the season has started and won't be healthy - but if he is 100% for the playoffs - that's all the Warriors need him for.

How much impact will this move realistically have? We don't know how long it will take Cousins to get on the court, or how effective he will be once he gets there. He might have a stronger postseason effect than regular season, if his game is back by then. Achilles injuries are no joke. It was noted after he agreed with the Warriors that he didn't receive solid offers from anyone, so everyone is scared away by his injury (especially combined with his cancerous past).

I doubt this is anything more than a 1 year deal, as he will want his money once fully healthy. He won't get that with the Warriors. The Warriors were already the running-away favorite this season; that won't change.
