All things NBA Draft related. It's getting to that time of the year where guys are having workouts. We're already past the combine so we're getting a clearer picture of things shaping up.

As for the Warriors I'm hoping to land Jerome Robinson. I was watching the NBA Draft Special on ESPN last night and they had Jerome mocked to the Warriors at 28. They also said he could potentially be a sleeper to be a riser on draft boards. Could be a real workout monster.

Other potential guys I think might be in the Warriors range would be Shake Milton and Jalen Brunson.

I saw that they had Michael Porter going 16th to the Wizards. I immediately discredited them right there. There's no way that kid falls that far

They did admit he could go much higher (they guessed as high as the Bulls at 7), but could also slide to the Wiz. The kid has barely played and now has back injury concerns.

Don't know a ton about the guys at the top of the draft, since I've mostly been paying attention to guys in the Warriors range.

I will say that I'm just not impressed that much with Marvin Bagley. Every time I watch him or clips of him I get frustrated a bit. He's a bit of a throw back player in terms of his offense, but his defense is pretty bad too. He also seems to be a bit of a black hole too. Not a guy I'd want to build around, IMO.

I really like Melvin Frazier as a sleeper guy. Really good size and athleticism for his position. Versatile defender. Improving offensive game. He needs some polish on his game, but the raw tools are there. He's a Jr right now, so he's on the older side, but I think he can become a really good 2 way guard in the league.

The longer I have to wait for draft night the more concerned I get that the Kings are gonna totally fuck it up by taking MPJ or Bagley at 2 instead of Doncic. It's not that difficult, take Luka. Trust the prophecy.

MPJ wouldn't be that tough of a pill to swallow. He was the far and away consensus #1 pick for this class a year ago. He fell because he didn't play this year. If that physical is a good to go, then there's still a good chance you could have a star on your hands. I'd still prefer Doncic if I were you, but I wouldn't be totally pissed. Anyone else and I'd probably throw my remote at the TV

If they had the 7th pick and drafted him I'd probably be happy or at least understand because of his potential, but jumping to #2 and taking a guy with recent back issues doesn't make me feel good no matter how highly rated he was. I assume they wouldn't even consider him unless the physical checks out, but that doesn't mean the injury won't return. I also like Luka's overall game more even if his scoring potential isn't as high as MPJ's. I'd rather have MPJ over Bagley though.

MPJ is riskier because of the back, but he has legit superstar upside. I agree that Doncic is probably the better pick, but there is a good chance Porter Jr. ends up being the better player.

Bagley at 2 would be a bad pick. I can't understand why he continues to rise. Jahlil Okafor 2.0

...or trade down if you don't want Doncic

The thing is, Bagley and MPJ were the OVERWHELMING consensus best high school players in the country, prior to going to college.

If MPJs back injury is not a major concern, there is a pretty compelling argument that he is the best player in the draft. Bagley is not the defensive liability that Okafor was and a lot of the metrics based analysis of this draft have him as the best player in the draft.

It's a roll of the dice between any of the top 4 players.
