Any Twins fans up for a 1-week avi bet on this weekend's Tribe/Twins series?

I've been having horrible luck, so if I lose, I won't be able to put your avi up until 6/13, but I will put it up.

Also, it's a 4-game series, so in the event of a split, total runs is the tiebreaker. If that's tied, we shake hands and walk away.

They aren't going very far in the playoffs unless they do some serious rework of the gas can dumpster fire of a bullpen we got going right now. Unless Kluber/Carrassco/Bauer can go 8/9 innings every game. Which you can't count on.

The Central this year has to be one of the worst divisions in quite some time.

The Indians have a trainwreck bullpen and currently sit 4.5 in 1st. Tigers/Twins both 6 under .500 and CWS/KC are 2 of the worst in baseball

But at least they are still in 1st Place

I sense a three game series coming up in June with the Indians. We are 1-1 on these bets ... I would go two weeks of avatar against changing you bogus signature "I'm an asshole" for a week. The two week time for me is because I won't be posting too much the first week.

Kluber is definitely the best Indians pitcher in my lifetime, and it isnt even close. Too bad he was such a late bloomer. Still been a pretty incredible run the last 4/5 years

Even more so, it's too bad his back broke last year. With a healthy Kluber for the playoffs, I think we most likely win the WS.

Eh, the offense took a crap for the most part in the last 3 games against the Yankees. Along with the defense making some comically silly little league caliber errors.

Even if we did manage to win that series, don't think they get by the Astros.

That signature came from the site's former owner. I got banned for correcting him that Padres' players weren't giving the team "hometown discounts" because they wanted to play in San Diego, they just sucked balls and would be in the minors in any other franchise.

Prior to that, I had no signature, and when I was reinstated, he'd set it to "I'm an asshole," and made it so that I couldn't change it. Later he allowed me to change it, and I think he thought I'd do it right away, but I kept it.

I'd prefer to just leave it as is and just do an avi bet, but you've been a good sport so I'd agree if that's what you want.

It's all just speculation, but I think with a healthy Kluber, the Indians very possibly would have beaten the Yanks in three. He was, by far, the best player on the team and if healthy would have had a HUGE impact on at least two games in that series. If Kluber dominates Game 1, and then Bauer dominates like he did in Game 1, I think the Yankees start pressing in Game 3.

As far as not getting past the Astros? Maybe. I'm just thinking if the Yanks pushed them to Game 7, and I'm being consistent with the idea that the Indians could have beaten the Yanks in three, it stands to reason that they could have beaten the Astros.

Regardless, those three teams were all excellent and definitely the cream of MLB's crop.

They're gonna have to make some trades. It's the only way. No way they can keep riding these AAA scrubs hoping one or two of them pulls their head out of their ass and starts pitching decently.

Land 2 decent middle relief type guys and hope Andrew Miller gets back to somewhat form and you've got a big improvement, maybe not a total lockdown pen but 100X better than whats being sent out currently.
