When Lebron Leaves and they are in the lottery next season with an 18 win year, its gonna be hilarious watching you spin

This already happened, its how they landed Kyrie in the draft

They still could potentially reach a finals without Irving. (In fact, they already did once) can do it twice. And obviously they may be poor next year. When LeBron goes, Love will probably leave too and Korver etc.

You do understand that team didn’t make the playoffs? Why are you comparing a team that didn’t make the playoffs to a team Lebron has in the ECF’s.

Another worthless post :L LOL

AND Lebron got a team that wasn’t good to the Finals btw....

Eric Snow
Larry Hughes
Lebron James
Drew Gooden
Big Z

Hows that 2007 team not good? They aren't great but they were good enough. Its not like they ran into a GOAT team either. And what you talking about the 86 Bulls didn't make the playoffs? They lost to the 86 Celtics in Round 1

Not nearly even close to as bad as losing to the 2018 Celtics. ROFLMAO

Love and Korver could stay, they will still be an awful team

You could just try respecting how truly good the Celtics are

Unless Lebon lands in Philly, the Celtics will be playing GS in the finals for the next decade

In a few years time, people will look back on this Celtics team and view it very differently than they do now.

Sort of like those early Thunder teams.

Funny that you mention that. I remember the Thunder coming up and playing the Lakers in the first round in the '09-10 playoffs on the way to the Lakers last title. Reminds me a lot of that series.

The Lakers won that one in 6 games, but I remember thinking, that team is the future. They were just quicker, faster and more athletic than the Lakers. The Lakers only won because they were more experienced, more physical and they were all afraid of Kobe. lol

Upset?

Are you still pretending that the Rockets are the favorite?

I did not see a single expert pick Houston to win the series before game 1. They may have had home court. But they were never the favorite. Golden State is the far superior team. Like everyone has been telling you all season long.
No. I'm asserting facts. When the series started, the Rockets had HC, they had a better record and they dominated the Warriors during the season.
One game does not a series make. The Rockets will win tonight but the Warriors have a good start towards upsetting the #1 ranked team and stealing this series.

That series is Ovah, but I understand you being cautious as a fan

I thought the Rockets were toast because of all the hype they were receiving

hard enough to play GS, now they are playing a Focused, Determined, Insulted, Pissed off Golden State

There is some level of validity to this.

But any supporting cast that plays well below their average performance while the best player puts up 40 point triple doubles in losses will get shit on, whether LeBron is involved or not.
There's definitely some truth to this as well, and LeBron was great...but would the team be better off in some sort of motion/ball movement offense?
I mean, and I hate to make the comparison...but for as much as we know Jordan, and Kobe to be shooters, it was the triangle offense that made their spot up shooting roleplayers look a little better than they were

Celtics are good but should not beat the Cavs without Irving/Heyward. This is more an indictment on the laziness of the Cavs, LeBron's LACK of leadership, especially on D and Lue just being outreached. . I don't know about the Celtics being in the finals for the next decade. Thats assuming other East Teams won't get any better..

Eh, Its the NBA, we know who is gonna be good and who isnt

Philly is the only team on the same planet that the Celtics are heading towards (In the East)

I think there is some validity there, I do wonder how a ball dominator like Kyrie would look with the way the Celtics are rolling right now

I just think the Cavs are a bad example because outside of the occasional Love or Korver, its just a really bad group of players

Yeah but like you said, they aren’t playing physical, that has to do with effort. The C’s were aggressive and hats off to them but the Cavs looked out of it, especially towards the end. They were just giving the ball to the C’s and leaving guys wide open. That can’t happen and it has to do with effort too

Playing more physical isn't about more effort, it's about changing the philosophy. It's looked to me like the Cavs have been trying to play a more traditional, "stay between your man and the basket and get a hand in his face."

That's hard to do when the guy your guarding has a significant advantage in speed and athleticism.

So, if the Cavs aren't going to try to use their own young guys, they need to start being more physical, bumping guys off their spots and probably even use the "no layups rule" from the 80's and 90's and put a couple of guys on their ass.

The effort doesn't change, just the philosophy.

No Dis-respect, I think thats total Garbage

Tatum, Rozier, Brown, are true, young, athletically gifted players

To compare them to George Hill, Jordan Clarkson, JR Smith, etc.....Laughable
At the time of the trade, people were saying that the Cavs would run away with the East. I'm not comparing the players, although I do think that we wouldn't have seen THIS version of those Celtics players if they played in an offense where they had to stand, watch, and hope to spot up

That clown JR Smith is way ahead of you.

Watching these playoffs as a Laker fan is something else though. I wanna see something new in the Finals, so the Celtics would be that...but it's the freaking Celtics. The Rockets would be something new as well, but I NEED GS to make the Finals just to feel comfortable if the Celtics get there. This sucks...

Rookie mistake - Taking what happens in the regular season thinking it would carry over in the playoffs; especially with a championship team.

The regular season means nothing come playoff time. Nice try though.

After watching the Celtics play this post season, I would easily, EASILY rather play the Cavs in the Finals. Lebron's gonna Lebron, but the difference this year is they are absolutely horrific on defense. Warriors or Rockets would get anything they want at any given time against them. Celtics aren't an elite offensive team in the traditional sense, but they're getting tons of buckets against them. Celtics also have been playing really well on the defensive end too.

WRONG. Monty said that games in December matter just as much as the one's in June. We had a big argument about this, lol.
