Because he doesn't have a talented roster.

My only complaint about Spo when we had superstars on our roster was his substitution pattern was too predictable. I'm harder on him now because coaching is more important on a team with no stars

Sure, makes sense, but he's still great and you rip him anyway. And that's fine, part of being a fan is playing manager from our living room. But the reality is Spo knows way more than you about how to run the team.
