So not stupid to irrationally hate a basketball player but stupid to criticize people for irrationally hating a basketball player. Cool.

My comment was more about your fellow travelers such as Montalban and Dorian but apparently it is stupid to criticize their comments.

I don't care for Lebron since he left Miami but the hate for him is a bit much on here from certain posters.

I can tolerate @ChiefsLakers67 hate because he doesn't make ridiculous comments such as saying LBJ choked yesterday or how it is LBJ fault that the Cavs role players & Love not named JR were missing a ridiculous amount of open shots yesterday

I know he's been dinged up, but Rodney Hood has been garbage since coming to the Cavs. Looks little like the player he was with the Jazz

and as much as i hate to dog ex-Lakers i highly doubt guys like Jordan Clarkson or Larry Nance Jr. are gonna help get him to the promised land...

hell, as much it truly pains me to say it the guy's great. it's his ego and everything else about him i simply can't stomach. add to that all the fans who try to tell you "you have no reason to dislike him" and becomes rather grating rather quickly...

uh kay...

I think this is kinda going off the rails a bit...

mayhap you have a different view of what "irrational hatred" is...

Have you read Dorian and Montalban's posts?

I wasn't going after you. Your hatred of Lebron is well documented but you don't go off into loopyland with your comments very often.

It's annoying to hear the same dingdongs who will downplay when Lebron does heroic things to get his team to win while blaming him for every flaw and failure of his team.

REally nice game by the Pacers last night. They looked hungry and ready to go.

The CAvs on the other hand looked totally off--- especially shooting wise. No matter who the Cavs play- if they shoot that way from 3 pt range they are not beating anyone.

If you go back and look at the last few series' the Cavs have won in the East- they have really just dominated shooting 3's. Not only did they get out-shot from 3 last night--- they were just terrible.

Calderon, Clarkson, Green and Korver--- all who are at least good, if not great, 3 pt shooters, were a combined 0/11. LeBron was 0/4 from 3.

Love is going to have to do a lot better than 9 points.

On the other hand, Oladipo was 6/9 from 3.

The Cavs did out rebound the Pacers- which was something I was worried about- but that could be because of just how many times they were missing.

As long as the Cavs shoot better- which they should- i think they should be fine- but the margin of error has definitely slimmed down.

actually i usually gloss over those. it's kind of a case of if you've seen one, you've see 'em all...

anyways, my apologies for taking your comments outta context...

Honestly- Clarkson, Calderon and Korver shot a combined like 43% from 3 in the regular season for the Cavs.....for them to go OFER from behind the line is straight up shocking.

I have to give Oladipo a lot of credit though. As soon as the Cavs would get it down to 7 or so- he would come up with a big basket. There was just never a time the Cavs went on a roll in that entire game and that is very rare that they dont have at least one stretch where they are lights out shooting as this team has so many good shooters on it.

Turner is not a bad matchup to cover love. He has the quicks to do it. The PAcers just really dont have anyone that can cover LeBron---- but if LeBron kicks he needs his shooters to do a lot better than they did.

Wasn't Korver hurt or did he just get benched? Only played 4 minutes

I don’t want to hear about this Lebron don’t have enough help crap because after the trade deadline he had enough and going into these playoffs, everybody still had them as the favorites. I don’t want to hear it. I’m blaming Lebron if his teammates isn’t playing good because one of the biggest arguments Lebron fans use is that he make players better.
give them a little time.....i heard on the pregame before the game yesterday that the Cavs had their whole playoff rotation together and healthy for a whole 10 possessions during the season before yesterdays game.

There is just very little familiarity with this team right now. If Love had not gotten hurt and they had an extra month I wouldve felt a lot better- but as soon as Love came back then Hood and Hill started missing games.

I think they need to get a little gut-punched and respond to that-- it might serve them better down the road.

The one thing about Indiana is that unless they have a guy like Bogdon or Turner or Joseph or Collison go off--- its hard for this team to get up over 105-110 points......The Cavs can usually walk to 110 points with their offense and shooting.

Obviously Indiana did things to disrupt their shooting, but seeing as they really dont have a guy that can matchup with LeBron (unless you count stephenson)- as long as the shooting comes around I think the Cavs will be fine....IF the Cavs play well offensively, not matter how bad they are defensively, its gonna be hard for Indiana to keep up if you as kme.

People can't stand him because when he losses a game he acts as if the loss has nothing to do with him.
No professional player in any sport has ever been so full of himself as Lebron.

If he is the "King" as he calls himself even though the press treats him more like a God ..than all losses are on him. I don't care how well he played. It's his responsibility. He controls everything.

If his players were not ready ..it's on him because he was the one that wants a puppet as a coach.
If Lebron needed more help ..that's on Lebron because he was the reason Irving left in the first place.

And what usually follows after a Lebron loss ....the press has to find someone to blame.
It was Dan Gilbert's turn. He is the reason they lost last night.

If you think Lebron is to blame for them losing yesterday then you're just a retard. Simple as that

It has nothing to do with players not being ready. It is a make or miss league and yesterday, the cavs missed a lot.

He was on a minutes restriction going in. But it must've been bothering him to only get 3 minutes.

I would be WAY more worried about the Game 1 loss if the Cavs defense was to blame.

But it wasn't, it was the Cavs offense that failed them. I'm not worried about their offense. They will have some games where its off, many where its on, and some where its way on.

Thats not to take credit away from the Pacers, though. Their defense is legit and its going to take a focused, deliberate, team effort from the Cavs on offense. Can't be turning it over like they were in the 1st quarter.

I don't think that the Cavs need to panic but, at the same time, losing at home is always bad in the playoffs. The Cavs are still probably going to win the series but the odds definitely are a lot closer to 50/50 than they were on Friday.

Well yeah, its not a good thing that they dropped game 1 at home. Definitely boosts the odds for the Pacers.

Personally, I'm still extremely confident in the Cavs winning this series. I wouldn't be saying that if the Cavs defense had been a turnstyle all night and their offense had been on par with what its been.

Well the Cavs defense is suspect. The Pacers have basically one legitimate scorer. If the Cavs were to give up 120+ to the Pacers that would be a serious problem.
