Gamel didn't get a hit, guess he isn't ready to get activated until Ichiro faces Ohtani?

Lets just cross our fingers and hope that early May series is Ichiros 'swan song' and he clears his locker after the Halos leave town.

maybe he can pick up a side gig as Ohtanis interpreter so they can deep six the nerdy little millenial he has in tow right now.

Oh thats right ! Ichi-scratchy has been in the US for 20 fucking years and made a choice NOT to learn to speak our language

Bye Ichiro .... don't let the door of that 777 hit you in the ass

h thats right ! Ichi-scratchy has been in the US for 20 fucking years and made a choice NOT to learn to speak our language

he speaks english and understands it..but does it through an interpreter for better understanding..and so he does not sound like pidgeon english..all the japanese guys i worked with... before.. spoke english...some more..some less ..most good enough to get by on an every day basis...talking and working with americans

that said
i would rather see romine go first ..then ichi-scrachy if he does not pick up his batting ave
i cant give him a break at the expence..of the guys below here..and he can always go coach in japan

john andrioli..is on fire at tacoma hitting 366 ave..422 obp..659.slg
cam perkins and ian miller are doing well enough as well..any of those guys could be put on the 40 man and it would be fine

chill out... its not Ichiro's fault

Ichiro was a huge part of the Mariners history, is it cool to see him in a Mariners uniform again. Yes it is. If you say no your just a fuck head. Does he have any business being on this team? NO!! a big NO!! it is the fault of the front office not the player. I don't wish him any ill will. I would say thank you for being a Mariner and all the memories we will see you in a few years to hang your number laters.

Dont be a ass clown and bitch about languages people speak fuck sake.. thats for the politics forum.

yeah...the japanese only own 10pct. now.( thank goodness).but it would be short sighted to want to get rid of the connection...cuz although the mariners lost ahtani to angels...more will come

the media was saying it was not ichiro's last stand....i disagree with that.. based on his numbers now..and his numbers when he was a rookie....coaching even in japan is a good job...and can be fun and rewadring

for an overall view though
tacoma is 7-6 ....2.5 games...behind fresno(houston)who are 10-4

highlights
john andreoli..of/rf...360 ave 2HR ...obp 418..slg 620..ops 1.038
cam perkins....cf......360 ave 1 HR....obp.396..slg 520..ops 916
ian miller.......LF..
beckham.....2B
vincej..........ss....all these guys have good numbers so far

pitchers..starters bergman .2-0 ...0.51 era..and whalen.2-0..3.78 era and relief mike morin and dario alvarez

arkansas is 6-6..1 game behind tulsa(LAD)7-5
5 guys hitting above 300..taylor at279..catcher joe de carlo at 211..braden bishop at 191(something wrong there)

pitching .starters..moore,and jiminian doing good ..de jong looks just ok ..misiewicz..only one game..but pitched ok..now on temp inactive...relief.. gillis and warren look ok

modesto is 5-9 in last place they have good pitching and hitting but have not seem to put it together yet

there top three starters are NOT doing well ..randy bell and darren McCaughan are doing well

bryson brigman is hitting.. is out of site..512/714/429/1226
jiminez ,walton, zammarelli, and taylor above 300

if they cold get the three starters to do well they could be ..a romping and stomping

does not.. seem... to me to be the worst minors in baseball

to be honest with you i don't care if it is Ichiro's last stand. I think about 2 things regarding him currently..

1. Does he help the team?.... The answer is no... And I think its a clear no... The M's have probably 2 or 3 guys that can do the same job at same or better level.

2. It is nostalgia. Ichiro was a fantastic hitter no doubt about it. The guy could slap the ball all over the place. It was fun and it was fun to watch... He plays baseball better than most Mariners have, for that I respect him and appreciate the fact that he was and will always be a Mariner.

I could go on about this and similar things (Griffey).. there is no point... don't judge people and their actions just because they are the focus of attention and famous.. It is stupid (not saying that to you ulmax just general statement.)
