Washington football recruiting: Latest updates on 2019 class during spring camp

The Washington Huskies have become one of the most improved teams in the country in terms of football recruiting in recent seasons. The 2018 class ranked 13th in the nation and second in the Pac-12, securing signatures from 11 4-star prospects.

Coach Chris Petersen and staff are already hard at work on the 2019 class, landing commitments from five players. The class will only continue to get better into the fall, and the positive momentum may even carry the Huskies to their first top-10 class nationally.

Here’s where the Class of 2019 stands as the Huskies have begun spring practice.

UW had more commits this time last year including more 4* recruits. Not sure what the deal is.

Yeah, I don't want to be a downer but the only two I'm excited about are Morris and Kalepo. I think Kalepo will be elevated to 4* at some point, and has done a great job trying to recruit for the Huskies, but I'm not all that excited about the others.
