I think a better question is how did Virginia go 17-1 in the ACC?

That was a weird game. Kansas State played tight like UVA did all game, but UMBC didn't play the same free flowing basketball they did against UVA. They played tight too. I don't see how UK doesn't steamroll Kansas State.

The ACC, B1G, SEC (both of them), and PAC-12 regular season winners are out of the tournament.

Dude, Hunter wasn't the reason UVA lost. UVA Got rattled because it was a one and done game that UVA just didn't have it

And, Virginia's style of play will prohibit them from winning six games in three weeks against top competition in a one and done tournament, but more exclusively they can own all the "regular season teams they want but it won't make them NCAA Champions.

I don't think there has been a dominant team since the Kentucky team a few yrs ago and they lost in the final 4. Shit happens in a single elimination tourney

Virginia was 31-2 headed to the NCAAT, were ACC regular season and tournament champions, effectively went 20-1 in the ACC, had 13 top 50 wins and their only two losses were to teams that were solidly in the NCAAT.

That is an absolutely dominant year.

I don't think it will prohibit them. If they could've broken a press they would've been in the final 4 a couple yrs ago. That collapse against cuse was epic
