Want to add that Will Dissly looked very fluid catching passes. His route running lacks explosiveness, but he is arguably the best blocking TE in this draft class.

As a Husky fan I want to see Dissly drafted, as a Seahawks fan I want to see him signed as a UDFA.

I believe that Dissly would make an excellent #2 or #3 TE. He's not going to make a difference in terms of yardage, but he can catch the football and he blocks extremely well. He has good hands, but will not get open against NFL defenders. I evaluate him as an OT who can catch the ball.

Yeah he had a good combine, I think his stock went up this weekend...

Vea tested well, ( minus his 40 yd) He should go in the top 10!

A 5.10 40 yard dash for a guy of his size is really impressive. Danny Shelton for comparison ran a 5.64.

Not football related, but congrats to Lorenzo Romar for landing a job as the Pepperdine head coach.

Wish him the best of luck in the future.

He has an absolute cannon of an arm and a great release. Reminds me a lot of Matt Stafford.

If he manages to put it all together I legitimately believe he will be a top 5 pick.
He's going to have a battle with Sirmon and Yankoff.

He's going to have a battle with Sirmon and Yankoff.

Considering he has SEC starting experience and is two years older than both of them, I anticipate he will win the starting job then be one and done. He has the type of arm and size that NFL scouts drool over.

I think Matt Stafford is the perfect comparison. Coming out of college he had some questions about inconsistency regarding accuracy similar to Eason. The QBs on the roster for 2018 are hands down the best group of QBs UW has had in school history.

One of either Sirmon or Yankoff will emerge as the backup this year and likely will still backup Eason in '19 leaving them 3 years of eligibility.

Really can't see both Sirmon and Yankoff staying past the fall camp of '19. One will probably leave when it becomes apparent they aren't going to be picked as a starter.

Eason is almost certainly going to win the starter job. He has a much stronger arm, SEC defense experience, more development, and will have as much time in this system with these coaches as both of the other two.

Barring some injury or some unknown limitation in his overall game I just can't see Eason not winning that spot.

For sure he has to earn it, but I'd be shocked to see either of the other two pass him up before fall camp '19.

I also must add that this doesn't mean I think Eason will be the best QB in college football. I just think he has the physical talent to be a great NFL prospect. He still has issues with accuracy and inconsistency, but generally scouts are willing to look the other way with that in the hope those can be ironed out in the NFL.

Unfortunately I agree with this assessment.

It would be nice if we went:
2018: Eason
2019: Sirmon
2020: Yankoff

But that's unlikely to happen. Fortunately though, we already have Dylan Morris committed (#85 nationally, #3 pro-style QB). And if you want to look even further ahead, apparently Sam Huard has been incredible and given his PNW roots, I'd say the Huskies would be favored to land him. He was the MaxPreps National Freshman of the year, throwing for 3,432 yards and 34 touchdowns as a freshman. Pretty damn impressive.

Another one off the Huard football family tree: Kennedy Catholic’s Sam Huard is national freshman of the year

I'm not "all in" on the Eason will be the next great Husky QB.
I still believe in stick to the one who brought you theme,

I think the two incoming frosh have a legit shot at being named a starter after Jake leaves.

I don't think it's a matter of being 'all in'. It's just looking at probabilities. I'm not sold on Eason setting records or whatnot. All I'm saying is the most likely scenario is Eason ends up getting the starter role over the other two purely because of his experience and the potential of that arm he has.

No one has any idea which of the 3 will be a better college QB.
