Hell yeah the Runnin' Rebels game in on tonight. Not that I have anything against Wyoming (they aren't nevaaaada-reeeeno) fuck 'em anyway though!

Frustrating yeah. However as a Rebel fan its more frustrating to watch how the team has been run recently. They just can't get over the "hump" of mediocrity. Every season there always seems to be a missing piece or two that keeps them from being really good. I really didn't have high hopes for this team to begin with this season they have already done better than I thought they would, but they did encourage hope early in the season. Once they started conference play they crumbled.

I understand mediocrity. Coach Rice has done a bang up job for us and we’re certainly very lucky to have him. The truth of the matter is that as we prepare to take on Utah State prior to this current three game winning streak in Logan, we were 0-18 there. We’ve also never won a tournament game in our history as in zero wins. I’d be so happy if we could somehow get there, get off the snide, and get over the hump this season.

Watching the Runnin' Rebels piss away that 21 point lead was frustrating last night. At least they won though. So through 25 games how many had UNLV @ 18-7 & in 3rd place in the MWC? I sure didn't. Hopefully they can finish the regular season strong & get a 1st round bye for the conference tourney.

I will admit I did not think this team would be at 18-7 through 25 games. I have said before this team has already exceeded my expectations for the season, that doesn't mean they haven't been extremely frustrating to watch at times. I really thought this season would be a bit of a mess.

The last 6 games of conference could be interesting.
