505 yards passing by Brady and the Eagles give up the 2nd most yards in the history of the NFL.

Pats only committing 1 penalty the entire playoffs

Nick Foles converted 80% of his 3rd down conversions in the 3 games of the playoffs.

Brady almost converting the Hail Mary which I’m convinced would have killed the Eagles.

Yes... It was a great game. Eagles played with a type of "reckless abandon" that served them well. They made the one big stop that everyone was expecting the pats to make which turned out to be the difference.

As far as SBs go I'm not sure it was the best football game. I mean neither defense could stop the other but it was very exciting nonetheless.

Maybe I’m being biased because we won but that was a back and forth game. We just could not stop Brady from the last TD he scored before half til 2:09 left in the fourth. TD, TD, TD, TD, Fumble. People are claiming the dynasty could be over and I’m like... the Eagles should be counting their blessings. If that Guard holds his block for 1 more second most likely the Patriots pick up #6. I don’t see anything that would indicate the Pats run is over.

It was definitely an exciting game, but shootouts aren't exactly my favorite type of football game to watch. Neither defense really did much of anything besides the big stop by the Eagles making Brady fumble towards the end of the game. The best type of football to watch is when they seem somewhat competent in all aspects of the game instead of just offense.

I agree. It was exciting for sure... But the best SB game ever played? I can't get there

Maybe it’s semantics but doesnt “best” mean most exciting. I can’t think of a more exciting SB then this last one.

It was a glorified arena bowl. The defensive effort by both teams was pathetic.

The Patriots forced some great catches by the Eagles receivers, but the Patriots receivers were running wide open all over the field.

It was a good game from a competitive standpoint, but from my perspective, among relatively recent Superbowls, the first Giants/Patriots, Steelers/Cardinals, and Patriots/Seahawka were all better games.

Neither did this SB either. I like watching passing offense, and can at least appreciate certain aspects of pass defense that gets beat. The Steelers passed for nearly 500 yards on the Jaguars, but seemingly every pass completion was into tight coverage. The Patriots had many cases where Foles was needed to make great throws to get completions, but Brady played against air....a LOT.

I could've hung 300 yards on the Eagles that night.
