I actually could see it the other way too. I'm sure fouls like the 2nd penalty go on a lot and are not called. The first one looked like a clear foul on the goalie, only on replay could you tell that there wasn't much if any contact.

Fun game in any case.

I would suggest VAR but that seems like a shit show

Should be a good game. Still though, doesn't seem the same playing Spurs at Wembley instead of White Hart Lane, I'll be glad when they get back there, hopefully next season.

I know they had to upgrade and get a new stadium, but WHL, like Highbury, had a lot of character and was a great atmosphere.

I hate myself, sometimes I used to bitch about Matic in the midfield sometimes running about, slow to get into some positions. But at his highs he closed down and made great challenges and covered the back 4 well.

Now we have Bakayoko holy fuck, the guy is lost, a turnover machine, he floats around with no position or marking, it would be one thing if he was like pogba and creative, but he isn’t he is just out of position and fucking up with shit passes.

What an incredible finish to the Spurs-Liverpool game.

You might have issues with the penalties awarded, but tbh the way the 2 teams played, it probably deserved to end in a draw.

I have huge issues with both penalties. The first, Kane was clearly offsides.

The second was a ticky tac that hardly ever gets called in the box. What made it worse was the linesman called it about a minute after it happened. The ref signaled play on.

Alas, you are right though. It deserved to be a tie. Liverpool had hardly any attack in them after HT.

Least I take solace in seeing Chelsea not get any points today.

Watching ESPNFC now. They said Conte must go

that's two giant turds in a row vs teams they should be getting 3 points off of. Major help to Spurs in their quest for top 4, so I'm not complaining. It's a shocking result tho.

Kane was offsides, however he made no attempt for the ball. The defender flubbed it and Kane recovered after the defender misplayed it. IMO, it was fair to let it play on.

1-1 or 2-2, a draw is about right. It's a shame we're talking more about the calls than we are those 2 amazing goals by Wanyama and Salah

Conte has been very un-Conte like with his decisions both on and off the pitch. Something tells me there is more going on behind the scenes. Yeah. Though as an Arsenal supporter I'm happy to see Chelsea stumble.

Kane was running towards the ball. IMO that call has to be made. But what’s that is that.

That goal by Wanyama was incredible. An absolute strike.

Sure those penalty calls sucked but Liverpool was also very lucky for a tie too after that poor showing in the second half.

Agreed, and I think Spurs are lucky for a tie not only due to the penalties but also for how poor they were in the first half. Lucky it wasn't 2 or 3-0 at halftime.

Let's hope they're not so lucky this week. :D

That’s true, an the reverse could of been 3-1 Tottenham after that shit 2nd half showing by the reds. The more I think about it, the more a tie seems well deserved.
