i have never thought he was this bad of an announcer ! Not one of those 2 calls we’re even questionable! That was a great game tainted by a jerk of an announcer, I am not a fan of either team, it was a great game, he made me sick listening to him talk about it over and over

I heard michaels say "and the pats take the lead" on the Gronk TD. No they didn't. That tied it. The extra point gave them the lead.

He was pretty awful in the Playoffs, but he has been usually decent overall.
He was way out of character the last few weeks. It was puzzling.

I am not sure whether he had money on the Pats or what....
But Gisele Bundchen would have been a more neutral announcer.

The first call was debatable. He had an argument of sorts, (60/40) but certainly not enough to go on a ranting raving diatribe about it. IT was not the worst call in history. He made it seem like it was the single biggest referee mistake in Superbowl history.

The second call was 100% correct by the refs.

He was going on about an Inc call in the first half, saying that the WR didn't "survive the ground" when that wasn't what happened at all. That wasn't the reason it was incomplete. He had a bad night. Michaels is getting tired too.

I don't know what they were looking at for so long with the Ertz Td. At least with the first one there was something to question, though I thought he had it all the way and the ball movement was just him putting the ball away from one side to the other. Doubting the Ertz TD was astonishing, though. I thought maybe I didn't know what I was looking at until after the game when everyone else who mentioned it thought it was a no brainer, too.
