You still haven't addressed my main point, only my secondary point. Which you're wrong about, but you're a prisoner of the moment and refuse to listen to reason.

SCSA/Hart had a better match 4 months prior to their WM13 match. Angle/Benoit is a very good match, but not a top-5 all time classic. Savage/Steamboat has been beaten to death, resurrected, then beaten to death again. If I see another DVD release with that match on there I'm going to go all Wayne Brady on the WWE. Taker/Michaels had a better match 8 years previous. They set the template for that particular match.

No offense, but I think your point that "wrestlers are buried" when they lose a match clean is absurd. If your main point is that the WWE isn't going to give Gargano a big push on the main roster then that's yet to be determined. Yesterday helped his cause. If your point is that Gargano deserves the title more than Almas than I disagree too.

If you think those matches (including the one last night) are overrated than I'm not sure who you want pushed and why. I want them pushed because of matches like last night.

Everytime i watch the Velveteen Dream.

I See a future HOF.

Ditto for Black.

They need call-ups SOON

Let's move Black up post WM. But let's give Dream the NXT title before he goes. Let him come up late this year after a top run. There's too much fun to be had with him as champ

It's just so hard at the top in NXT right now. You have Almas, EC3, Black, Dream, Drew, Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, and hell if you wanted too you could add, Kassius Ohno, Lars Sullivan, Gargano and Ciampa in the mix as well.

Even if you don't add those last 4 that's still 7 legit main people at the top and while it's great for rotation and keeping people fresh they only have 1 title so I can see a lot of people getting frustrated if they're not at the top.

Drew McIntyre's injured but he definitely makes the top of the NXT card even deeper when healthy. I'd also include Ricochet in the mix too.

With the surplus of talent on all 3 rosters now you can definitely turn 205 live into a super legitimate 4th brand. Assuming Mysterio is back they have someone with some appeal to casuals too.

Even the womens divison. Moon, Bazler, LaRae, Iconic duo, Belair, Evans, Martinez, Cross, Vega can go...

But this is a something to keep a eye on IMHO. At some point in the 2 or more might get frustrated and leave. Too many hens in the chicken coop you know.

Oh as for Rey-Rey. There nowhere close to a deal.

WWE wants Full-time. Rey wants Part

Damnit forgot her.

Oh BTW.

Johnny Wrestling lost a one time or your gone match to Almas
Yeah I saw that. Not sure if its just a spot.Or if theres something else behind that. Still not sure what to make of it. Johnny wrestling has had a hell of a year imo.Almas actually did pretty well at the RR too. NXT is pretty loaded. They've been consistently putting together a great product. And killing the PPVs

He'll probably move up to 205 live.

I want WWE to admit the only reason Almas has the title is because of Drew McIntrye's injury at NXT: War Games. They refuse to admit that and so I believe the title should've been taken off of Almas at NXT: Philly. My main point, however, is that WWE is burying Gargano here and he'll be buried when he gets to the main roster. I kept reading Gargano getting compared to Daniel Bryan in 2014 and I contend that if not for the fan revolt at the Rumble and afterwards, that DB would've never, I repeat NEVER, gotten the title at WM30. That you're okay with Gargano's burial and WWE's lame reasoning for Almas' title win in November is perplexing.

But they're not burying him. Nope not at all nothing to see here. Amiright, @futballiscool?
I think it's just an angle to move him up to the main roster. It still remains to be seen if he'll be buried on the main roster or not. He has to leave NXT so Raw and Smackdown could fight over him. I guess you could throw 205 Live in there too and since that's now run exclusively by HHH, he could get a big push there.

It's not worth arguing over as we obviously watch wrestling from entirely different perspectives.

Was Almas established as more important in the NXT hierarchy? Yes. But that's not an issue as Almas is a huge talent and finally gives the WWE an heir apparent to Eddie Gurerro as a main eventer who can be marketed to the Hispanic international audience.

Is he being buried? No. He's either getting called up to a main roster show or will be the focal point of 205 live with a WrestleMania match for the title. With HHH taking over that 205 live I am expecting it to be on par with NXT soon

Also listened to X Pac' s podcast with Gargano a couple weeks back and he was total class. Arguably the best wrestler in the company along with AJ and a really likeable, articulate guy. He can be a the perfect brand ambassador. He's going to have a long, successful career in the WWE.

And Stone Cold Steve Austin had his 316 moment and KOTR win because HHH was being punished for the curtian call. Both Austin and Gargano got a chance due to unforseen circumstances but then knocked it out of the park.
Bryan had already won MITB and the World Championship prior to the authority storyline. WWE probably should have gone all in on Bryan sooner but based on how they're booking AJ on SD they probably learnef from it.

Almas and McIntyre are both incredible and I don't have an issue with them being a higher priority to the WWE than Gargano right now but I can see that shifting over the next couple years.

If you want wrestling that revolves around smaller, workrate indie guys I have hunch HHH is in the process of building an entire brand around your tastes.

Gotta love the way NXT reloads. Moon, The Iconics and Vega get called up. And they have arguably the greatest female wrestler in the world.Set to join the roster come the MYC. May get some great matches with Io and Baszler. Hoping for Io vs Kairi again in NXT. 5 star match machine

I hope that they keep Gargano and Ciampa in NXT. In my opinion, Gargano is the best booked babyface on the roster. Same goes for Ciampa except as a heel. If they both went up to the main roster, I feel that they'd be quickly forgotten about, sent to 205 Live and/or jobbed out.
