:bored2: So this is a good time to bring up the fact I kind of wish the early signing period didn't happen this year.
I'm five days away from my pro team playing and I'm going bat shit crazy!

See if recruiting was still going on strong I could be pre occupied and not tunneled in on my Eagles.....

Almost forgot there was a Super Bowl to be played.

College Football's Early Top 50 Players for 2018

48. Byron Murphy, CB, Washington
A broken foot sidelined Murphy for seven games and limited him to just 16 tackles, three interceptions and seven pass breakups. With another offseason to develop, Murphy is poised to rank among the nation’s top defensive backs in 2018.

37. Myles Gaskin, RB, Washington

With 4,055 career rushing yards, Gaskin the active FBS leader in this category entering the 2018 season. He’s reached 1,000 yards in each of the last three years, including a 1,380-yard campaign last fall.

36. Jake Browning, QB, Washington
Browning’s touchdowns dropped from 43 in 2016 to 19 in ’17. However, the California native completed 68.5 percent of his throws and tossed only five picks in 336 attempts. Assuming Washington can find a go-to receiver, Browning should surpass his 2017 totals.

32. Trey Adams, OL, Washington
Adams’ 2017 season ended prematurely due to a knee injury suffered against Arizona State on Oct. 14. He should be back to full strength in 2018 and protect the blindside of quarterback Jake Browning.

Maybe I'm a bit biased, but I'm somewhat surprised to not see Taylor Rapp or Greg Gaines on there.

UW just beat #9 Arizona on an amazing buzzer beater to win 78-75. Beat #25 ASU the last game they played.

Hell of a turnaround for this program. UW is now 17-6 and 7-3 in the Pac-12.

I was hoping they punched their ticket into the top 25, sucks it didn't happen. Totally agree, an amazing turnaround.

So which are you looking forward to more in the coming weeks: start of baseball season, or start of spring football? As sad as it is, I'm probably more interested in spring ball. Just so tired of year after frustrating year of getting too invested in a M's team that 100% of the time finds more than one way to seriously disappoint their fans and ultimately fail every single time.

This past weekend was the first weekend I didn't have any football to watch, :pout:
I need to get caught up on College BB, I know I cheer for the Dawgs my Vegas roots keep me in with UNLV...

I'm actually looking forward to the M's getting started will follow spring ball though....
And to be fair, I got this feeling what ever team I'm cheering on this year, goddamn they might win it all!

Don't get me wrong, I'll follow the M's like I always do and like I always have since they joined the league.

Just not all that high on them and really won't be until they FINALLY stop being jokes by the all-star break.

That starting rotation this year? Really? That's going to work? :noidea:

Spring football isn't anything close to as cool as it was 10+ years ago when they actually had real spring games and yet I'm more excited for that than whatever the M's are going to trot out to tear our hearts out yet again.

Spring football doesn't really mean all that much since there really isn't anything to actually watch. Sure, there are rumors and speculation that comes out of spring football, but it's not really the real thing.

As disappointed as I am in the Mariners, I absolutely love going to Mariners games and I enjoy watching the games as well.

Yeah, wait until you've been disappointed by them for 40 years outside of a couple of solid years that still didn't produce a WS appearance, more or less win.

Hey don't sell them short, if the Eagles can win a damn Super Bowl then anything is possible....

I can see myself as the 99 yr old guy on TV there talking about when the M's win it!
