So sure about what?

That he's deserving?

Deal. I win.

That he wins.

Butler is a very good two way player. But he isn't going to win MVP and he shouldn't.

There are 11 players currently listed with better odds than Butler (80-1):

Harden
LeBron
Giannis
Irving
KD
Westbrook
Curry
Leonard
A. Davis
Cousins
DeRozan

Obviously a couple of those guys aren't more deserving (Kawhi especially), but Butler is averaging 21, 5 and 5 on a 4th place team. You are being a massive homer if you really think that is MVP worthy.

Just listed the betting odds.

But, now that you mention it, Cousins' stat line is a lot better than Butler's (25.8, 12.5 and 5.1) and Davis is by far the best player of the 3. The Pelicans only trail Minny by 5.5 games and it isn't like Butler is a 1 man show over there.

Just because you want your favorite player from your team to be a legit MVP candidate doesn't make it so. Butler isn't on that level.

Stat line is the most valuable??

Lmao.

Those two bozos are on the same team and Jimmy mops the floor with both every time.

You're right Jimmy does have other players...that consist of a lottery team without him.

Btw I don't even like the wolves

I win

@tlance

Says two guys who have made the playoffs one time individually and together are fighting for a 8 seed

Are more valuable then a guy who leads teams to considerably better records then without him

Somebody get this man a GM job!! Superteams might be non existent with guys like him in charge

God you take stupid to another level

Only 5.5??? Hahahahaha Jesus

Dude.

I was first in line last year saying Russ should not have won MVP. I don't think simple stats should matter as much as they do. But I am not a voter.

No, I would not consider Davis or Cousins. But, they are more likely to win than Butler BECAUSE their stats are better and the people who do vote care about that:

That said, no way in hell I vote for Butler either.

Nowhere near the level of the top candidates.

Since you like bets

I'll bet you any amount of money

If the two teams stay in their current spots. Butler gets more votes then both.

Not taking that bet. Means nothing.

Butler probably will finish higher. The odds are based on winning though. Both are more likely to win because their stats will be a lot better.

Butler is more likely to finish 5th - 7th.

Butler is a beast. Looks like a great leader for the T-Wolves.
Loved his hustle play vs Porzingis and my Knicks last night.

MVP Butler with another 24-5-4 on just 11 shots as the Wolves paste another team

Like I said, you can argue it but you just come out looking stupid.

VALUABLE

That isn't you if you legitimately believe Butler is MVP. LeBron and KD are way more valuable. Put either of them on the Wolves instead of Butler and they are a legit threat to GS.

Golden state wins without Durant

The Thunder win without Durant at a decent rate

The Bulls and Wolves blow without Jimmy.

Jimmy has the best RPM in the league or whatever the stat is

Wolves 0-2 without Jimmy.

Wolves allowing a historically awful pts per possession without Jimmy on the floor.

VALUABLE.

Simple math really.

Great dayne said the Badgers will get 4th in the big10 while losing tonrutgers

I just point out the facts.

Wolves simply don't win games without Jimmy.
