I still don't see how he was great on the field. Not to mention his catch percentage was the lowest of his career. Before you go blaming the qb, ask yourself when was the last time the Browns had a good qb. And number two his only great season he had three different starting qbs that season Jason Campbell, Brian Hoyer and Weeden.

Now as far as Coleman, he had 300 yards receiving this year. He was not good.
Because he didn't play for 2.6 seasons and came out and put up numbers that equate to 60 catches and 1k yards over a full season with a shit QB. Adding Smith makes all the receivers better and adding Barkley makes them a legit pkayoff caliber team. It's like the Cowboys adding Zeke and Dak except Cleveland has a better D than Dallas had

I dont understand why Cleveland wouldn't just draft a QB and start him like everyone else. Kizer as a developmental backup.

The reason why Cleveland keeps screwing up is that they try to get cute with the QB position.

The were more lucky than smart maybe, but regardless they made the right move passing on RG3 initally...they didn't passing on Wentz.

I think this yr with 4 guys with similar grades, they will land one of the 4.

Sound like we had this chat earlier.

I'd want to go away from this draft with Minkah Fitzpatrick, Josh Allen, and I could drop down from Barkley and take Sony Michel.

I should still have HOU's #2 (#34 overall) and PHI #2...and two 4th & two 5th rds so...If KC is willing to work with a high 2nd and a 4th and a 5th rounder...let's talk now.
I don't love Fitzpatrick but you're plan is not awful. I personally would not pass on Barkley . I think he's going to be a guy wearing a good jacket someday

CLE has a decent OL, DAL had a dominant OL, DAL had Dez/Whitten, CLE doesn't really have a WR1 or a proven TE.

Lot of differences in the make up the teams...DAL DEF did play over their heads in Dak's rookie yr, but I don't know if CLE's DEF is better.

In short, I think if they fix the QB, Barkley doesn't make them playoff caliber in 2018, but they should be near .500

Man has anyones' stock rose like Sony Mitchell?

Seems crazy right now, I still think Nick Chubb has the more NFL body in terms of holding up to the beatings

He should be going to the Jags.

Yup

I keep repeating myself, but a mistake free QB that can win you a game from time to time, is exactly what the Jags need.

Never saw a more perfect marriage than Alex Smith and the Jags

Quinton Flowers should be a target for any team with a mobile starting QB.

Lamar Jackson is interesting (I dont like him at all on the NFL Level).......But its not like he doesnt have a pretty sensational resume

Lots of mileage on Chubbs tires.

His stock was higher as a Sophomore imo. 750+ carries and he isn't a receiving option.

Keep the draft picks and use some of the tons of cap money they have and sign Cousins! Rosen and Darnold aren't NFL starting ready, if you want to really stock pile more picks trade out of one and four take one of the RB's later in the first and then draft the kid out of Wyoming at QB.....

Ransom #1 pick
4: Draft Fitzpatrick

Trade for Alex (probably a 2nd and a conditional 4th/5th if I were to guess)

Spend money on FA's

Would certainly produce the best 2018 Cleveland team that has been around since they made they last made the playoffs on paper.

Would have to think they're pulling out all the stops to get this ship off the ground given they have a 1-31 record.

Man I just don't get the Fitzpatrick love. Guy is a first rounder for sure but no way I'd go top 10 on him . He was great last year but just ok this year . There are 2 or 3 CBs I like just as much as him that you could get late first early second .

I take it you stan for Josh Jackson? Not trolling Iowa, just wondering if that's your CB1.

Honestly him, Ward and Fitzpatrick are all about the same in my opinion . All great to but I wouldn't take any of them higher than 15
