He needs better WR's. Carolina loves to let CB's and WR's leave for some reason.
Honestly, I don't really understand what Carolina is doing with their skill positions. I thought they reached on McCaffrey and Samuel last year and Funchess a couple of years ago. Kelvin Benjamin was basically the perfect kind of WR for Cam but maybe they didn't trust him long term.

So many teams in the NFL draft have been ruined over the year by taking a WR or RB just because they need a WR or RB and not because the guy was a standout talent.

Agreed, I think Mcaffrey will shine as a one dimensional Darren Sproles type, which isnt bad, but when you use the #8 pick on a RB, and still require another RB to get you the tough yards, and run between the tackles, thats not good

One thing about Benjamin I noticed in Buffalo, and its always been the bad rap on him, he doesnt separate at all, and he isnt exactly a master of body positioning and utilizing his size

Funchess will be a very nice compliment to a better WR, but is not a #1 option....

With Olsen starting to age, that team is desperate for playmakers, Samuel started showing signs, but than went down for the season

Once inserted into the starting lineup Jimmy G transformed that team. They looked like a 1-15 or 2-14 team......then they looked like world beaters......I realize they beat some bad teams but they looked totally different with the same skill player and defense. He was the difference.

Ben has looked like trash this season at times.....Ben had 28 TD's and 14 INT's......Rivers 28 and 10 plus he was a huge reason (along with that defense, gotta give them credit) they almost played the postseason after starting 0-4.

yeah, but should Rivers really get credit for "almost" making the postseason in a conference where Buffalo and Tennessee made it?

Chargers on the whole have so much more talent than both those teams

As far as Jimmy, yeah, that team is gonna be real interesting to see when they add some offensive pieces...Even if Garcon can get back healthy, that will be a big help

Yeah, I think McCaffrey and to a less extent Samuel and Funchess aren't terrible picks. I just think they were reaches. Last year's RB draft was super deep and its pretty good again this year.

Cam pretty consistently makes his TEs look good. Olson stays healthy then maybe they would've been better this year.

Carolina's red zone offense is in the tank now. They went from 69% the year they went to the Super Bowl, 61% last year and 51% this year. With Cam's physical presence, you wouldn't think that should ever be an issue. They fix that and Carolina will be back to being a real contender again.

The 49ers could be a team to watch just getting him back to be honest with the way they finished the season but they have a shit ton of cash to spend on FA's and the draft to improve.

Chargers have more talent than Buffalo but the Titans have a lot of young talent, imo.
