Westbrook?

Are you joking?

He's not joking he's trolling. Although sometimes I can't tell if he's trolling or really believes some of the stupid shit he posts

Amazing that the Warriors have so many great shooters on their team. Guys like Curry, Durant and Thompson are up there as the best shooters in the game today. Curry, for 1, may be one of the better shooters all time.

Maybe this is premature, but I think I'm willing to put Curry at #1 shooter of all time already.

I think there's no question he's the #1 shooter of all time. When you factor in HOW he gets his shots, it's ridiculous. Most of the most prolific shooters of all time were basically set shooters or catch and shoot, shooters. Curry does it off curls, catch and shoot, off the dribble, floaters, mid range, 3 pointers. Everything.

I think you'd have to incorporate more guys who were mid range specialists and maybe even have to go back to pre-3 point line days to find comparable shooters. But for my top 5, I'm only including guys who had a 3 point line.

My top 5 Shooters of all time would be:
Steph
Larry Bird
Ray Allen
Reggie Miller
Klay Thompson

Klay Thompson might be the only one here that might be truly debatable, but I give this guy the nod over others because who else has scored 60 points in 29 minutes or 37 points in a quarter. At their absolute "On-Fire" peaks, I'd take Klay over Steph, easily.

It all depends how you measure it. A guy like Kyle Korver is a great shooter, if you are just talking about shooting itself. He has feet of stone and is not good at anything else, but the guy is 43% from 3 for his career. That's elite.

Yeah. I don't think it is particularly close either. Steph is #1

Career 43% shooter and 31% from 3. All time great shooter for sure.
The post you quoted to try and make your point shows that you did not read it. I'm not sure why that surprises me though.

That is exactly what this thread is about. A pure shooter is a guy who will drill it when they are open. It doesn't imply any other skills. Korver definitely belongs in the conversation as one of the best pure shooters.
