Looks like all of us can rejoice. Whether your a glass half full type or the glass is half empty type. Course that won't last long. Think the house cleaning will extend to players and 2018 is about building towards the next championship team, which most likely means a down season next year....but 2019 the Seahawks already have a ton of cap space and if they can unload even more next season, wow ! Means in 2019 the Seahawks will have a decent draft slot and tons of money to spend and they already have their franchise QB so way ahead of the original rebuild. Dilly Dilly !:suds:

Well, I would much rather be still enjoying a 12-4 type season with a deep playoff run. But short of that, I am glad that we will have a fresh set of eyes on the OL problem.

Not so fast. McVey turned around a Rams team in a year so I feel if Pete and John can hit on new coordinators with fresh pair of eyes and scheme, the same can happen here.

I do think letting go of Richard was kind of a mediocre move. He didn't do great with the defense because of huge injuries, aging players, and the terrible offensive play that offered little rest and shit field position. Hard to blame him for that.

Bevell and Cable being gone though are huge boons IMO.

This was the easy part. It TOTALLY depends on who they replace them with.

This was needed, changes had to happen... Let's just hope the changes are good ones and we get some good football guy's in there... I don't think were gonna be in full rebuild either, still a lot of talent on this team, and I can see us being better next year than we were this year if we make some decent moves... I hope Sherman comes back, our secondary has potential still, with Earl and Sherm back, plus some young talent that's emerged... I have hope for next season depending on who we hire and how we draft, plus vet's coming back....

I don't think Richard has been fired.

Ah, maybe it's just still a rumor. I hope so. I'd like to keep Richard around. The players didn't seem to have a problem with him. They had a bigger problem with Bevell/Cable (from what I could see from the defense). I know Baldwin said they were fine with Bevell, but not from some of the shouting, the Lynch finger, and reactions from players after critical losses.

Finally being rid of Bevell was the best news I've heard all day!

Ironically I think there's a decent chance that the friggin O-line will have a chance to be a LOT better next year. With Pocic showing something, if they can get Fant back healthy, then we could see a Rams style improvement.

Glad you brought that up about Pocic, I feel he showed some promise as well... I'm excited to see him grow... I think he has a good chance at being a staple on the OL...

pocic needs to get stronger, he doesnt have any power.

i know it wont happen, but a power man blocking scheme would be better for this offense than zbs. too much perfection is required for the zbs to work.

I believe he's strong, I just think he needs to add more weight... About 20lbs or so... He's long w/ good hands/feet work... Adding a bit more weight will prevent him from getting moved as easily in the trenches...

Too bad there's nothing out there for guys to take to get stronger. Someone should invent that, they'd make a killing.
