Not at all. Basketball is for pussies that can't skate and the Celtics still have more championships than the Fakers.

BTW, ever been to Minneapolis?

Couple of times. It's cold there.

Hopefully you had the chance to check out the NBA titles you Laker fans are claiming as your own while you were there.

Funny thing about that play is that, back then, that was just a common foul. The refs separated the players, Rambis shot his free throws and they went back to playing basketball.

These days? McHale would have been called for a flagrant 100 or some shit, kicked out of the game and probably kicked so far out of the league that he wouldn't be able to even go to a game as paying customer. lol

No need. The Lakers brought them with them.

You realize that titles belong to the team, not the city...right?

Actually, you probably didn't.

You're a Celtics fan, so a room temperature i.q. is assumed. :dhd:

I would say that that was over the top, even back then. I clearly remember the Laker players freaking out about it and letting them affect the for the rest of the series. Keep in mind that LA had blown the Celts out in the previous game and that nasty play changed the series.

No, the Minneapolis Lakers have some titles and the LA Lakers have a few more.

The Celtics of Boston have all of the NBA championships won by the Celtics.

Couple of questions for you;

Where are all those lakes in Los Angeles?

How may times did the Lakers lose to the Celtics in the finals?

Definitely did. I've said for years that play was largely responsible for the rest of the Lakers titles in the 80's. That play showed the extreme you had to be willing to go to if you wanted to win a title. Because of that, they were able to stand up to the way the Bad Boy Pistons played.

The Lakers have 16 titles.

You can tell Celtics fans are beginning to realize the inevitability of being caught and passed by the Lakers. They never used to try to use this lame nonsense until the Lakers got #16.
