I know i'm playing couch coach here.Breeze is 3 step and releasing the ball to fairly open receivers regardless of the pressure. I'm wondering is maybe changing receiver routes verse full overhaul might be an option next year. :noidea:

i think that might require a full overhaul. that just isnt bevells offense. everything is either deep or a bubble screen of some kind.

That's 100% false... Watch games... There are a lot of routes run underneath... RW (Carroll even mentioned this a few weeks ago) tends to go for the big play downfield more than he should instead of just picking up chunks of yards to move the chains...

The only quick throw it seems is a 3 yard out. Would like to start using the middle of the field to the TE a bit more. Much like we did with Zack Miller. Long developing Y and Z routes have been a bit of a problem to be honest.

not really. i have season tickets and i get to see up close the vast empty wasteland that is the middle of the field on most of our passing plays. i know i know, russell is short, that will be the excuse.

Actually given where your seat is you don’t see things up close at all. I’d go so far to say being at home and seeing the play replayed from varies angles actually gives you a better view of what is going on. I speak from experience being a season ticket holder once upon a time with a seat fairly close to yours.

Go watch youtube videos and replays of the games... More than not, there is a receiver running a route underneath, RW just chooses not to throw to that receiver... Even if it's 1st and 10... He tends to throw down field...

Carroll called him out a few weeks... He said, "Russell left a lot of yardage out there today"... Carroll also said, that RW was going deep down field too much when he should've taken the 5-7 yard routes on early downs... I'll take Carroll's comments over yours...

You're not being honest with yourself because you're completely inaccurate with your conclusions regarding Bevell not running different routes than bubbles/deep... Facts back it up...

But why should he listen to Carroll - he believes Carroll should be fired.

Yep, i'm a season ticket holder as well. I go there for the atmosphere, not to get a better view of the action. you miss a lot of things by being at the game that you would be able to see and hear (several times) by watching on tv.

the replays dont usually show where the players arent.

of course, the im just not seeing all the receivers sitting in the middle of the field. carroll is right and he would never EVER sugar coat!

just go ahead and watch the all 22, you will see on most plays NOBODY is in the middle. teams dont even have to defend it and they know they dont have to defend it. we rarely even have a RB go out on a dump off route either. just go look at wilsons splits and you will see the proof in the pudding.

I'm reading they might actually bring Gus Bradley back... Jesus Pete, your loyalty for coordinators is border line ridiculous.... You have NO Problem trading a player away with no hesitation, but when it comes to your coaching staff, DAM they have job security with you.... If they bring Gus back I can't even begin to tell you the disappointment I'll feel going into next season... That's worse to me than bringing Blair Walsh here, honestly...

I hope not. Jack Del Rio is sitting out there, go get him.

Sort of a strange opinion on Gus Bradley when he had a major role in putting together the 2013 defense and then went off to Jax and had to have been a primary architect of their current #1 D as well. Then he goes to SD this year and they are the #3 scoring D. That's too much coincidence for it to be an accident.

The problem i had with brdley was his refusal to blitz and 3 man rush on 3rd and long that seemed to give up 1st downs way too often.

I can't see Bradley coming back to Seattle unless Richard is gone - can't see Bradley wanting to be anything less than DC and for that to happen Richard would either have to get the Colts job, get demoted or fired.

Yeah the line just doesn't block well enough to let Wilson throw a ball deep from the pocket most of the time.

I wouldn't be apposed to more of a pass happy offence but lets keep short with lots of x-ing routes sitting at TE in the middle to expose the zone. One on one the have the back in the flat.

Looks like Snuggles will need a new thing to whine about. Or has he already started to focus on Richard?
