the OL is terrible, yes, but im not ready to blame it all on the OL.

even when we had a better OL, bevell was still garbage and still made horrible situational playcalls

Seahawks have never had a good OL. Main reason they threw instead of giving the ball to Lynch in that lost to the Pats IMO. As for making some bad calls, even the best have bad calls. I really don’t care if the Seahawks replace Bevell, but until the OL gets repaired it won’t make a difference to the offense.

Rams are 1 and done ... I had Atlanta winning that game, they'll be in the NFC title game vs either the Saints or Vikings... I don't see Philly beating that Atlanta team without Wentz ...

Agree the Eagles lose to the Falcons without their starting QB. Got the Vikings going to the SB.

What are a few examples of that...

right before halftime in the 2012 playoff game in ATL, 4th and goal from the 1, I-formation, he hands it to the FULLBACK instead of lynch and he gets stonewalled.

he actually called this play multiple times after ONE successful use of it in 2012. after that it never worked again. but he kept calling it.

his love for the bubble screen also was mind boggling for the longest time, but he has also stopped doing that too.

I agree, Vikings are the most complete team standing right now, especially on the defensive side...

You're using an example from 5 years ago?

I'm taking the Saints. I will also pick Atlanta to beat Philly because of the QB thing, but NO has Brees and that 1-2 RB combo. Their D is better than it normally is as well.

this fits under "lies, damn lies, and statistics".

having wilson is the only saving grace on this team and he does most of it all on his own.

if we had no wilson, imagine just how God awful our O would be. pretty damn awful.
So you mean if we had no offensive line, no running game, and a league average QB (or worse) then our O would be God awful?? Yeah...even just a week in, this isn't exactly the most insightful musing of 2018.

that illustrates how long its been going on. i had been talking about bevells shit play calling for a few years BEFORE he made the shit playcall in the superbowl that cost us the game. he has been bad at it for a long time.

you know what scared me? it was the sudden regression we started to see from Brown because of how fast it started to happen. He was a better Blocker when he got here than he was at the end of the Season. The Cable effect lol.

What ever Cable puts his hands on just goes to crap, i don't understand how Pete can be so loyal to someone who hasn't done anything but regress player development.

Also i hear the Hawks have like the 2nd or 3rd most Scouts in the NFL, i think it's time to dump some of these guys and try to find some better talent evaluators

Disagree. Bennett (who you disdain) schooled Brown when we played them just before the trade. In a "Brown is the OL savior" thread from a couple of moths ago, I offered that Brown will help but he is not a savior. He makes plenty mistakes.
Brown also said that it is difficult to block for RW as he never knows where RW is at. Rule #1 for OL...stay between the QB and your assignment. You think that is Cable's fault. It is not.

He played with a high ankles sprain the last 2.5 games so i'm sure that had something to do with his play...

on this board, having a TD drive or 2 per game is enough to make you untouchable.

Saints have a shot for sure, but the Vikings defense is #1 overall, and I like defense... I think the Saints are gonna have a tough time getting things going offensively in this match-up ... Minny vs Atlanta NFC title game is my pick...

Nope. Hey, this is the time to replace your whipping boys, if they're going to do it. Hell, replace everybody but Schneider if you want. Just hire someone first rate. Seattle is a destination, and that has to continue.

You're just comical with your basic logic.

The Vikings will win on the strength of that D if it's gonna happen. That QB matchup really favors the Saints though, and this year Brees has more help in the backfield than ever before. I just cannot get myself to think Case Keenum will win a playoff game over Drew Brees.
