I have no ill will against the Ravens, but what happened today was beyond comical.

- At home agains the Bengals
- win and you’re in the playoffs
- 3 point lead with less than a minute
- 4th and Long beyond field goal range for the Bengals
- Boom... you allow a 50 yard TD to lose

You can’t write that shit. Thank you for the last game of the regular season entertainment. :thumb:

Yeah, it's pretty funny if you're not a Ravens fan.

Bengals have been a pain in the ass the last few years, regardless of record.

I feel your pain. After all, I’m a Cardinal fan.

I just couldn’t believe it when it happened.

Bills' thank-you gift to Bengals: 1,440 wings

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The Bills are sending 1,440 chicken wings to the Cincinnati Bengals as a thank you for their win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday that clinched Buffalo's first playoff berth since 1999.

The Bills announced the shipment from local restaurant chain Duff's in a tweet Thursday evening:

In a thank-you note to the Bengals posted on Twitter after Sunday's games, the Bills promised they would send wings to Cincinnati. The Bengals said they would donate the wings Friday to the Children's Home Autism High School in Cincinnati.

The Bills' gesture comes after thousands of fans donated to Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton's charitable foundation this week in appreciation for his late 49-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Boyd to beat the Ravens. More than $315,000 had been raised as of Thursday night, Dalton announced on Twitter.

Fans also flocked to contribute to Boyd's cause, donating more than $50,000 to the Western Pennsylvania Youth Athletic Association.

This is not the first time an NFL team has sent a gift to another for helping to clinch a playoff berth. The Bills received a shipment of Primanti Brothers sandwiches from Pittsburgh after defeating the New York Jets in the 2015 regular-season finale to put the Steelers in the playoffs.

While the Bills and Bengals seemed to have formed a bond this week, the two teams will not play each other next season, unless they meet in the playoffs.

The ravens are an average nfl team. In the playoffs they would have had a chance to win one game and maybe keep it close vs the pats but that's it. Instead, the bills are in the playoffs, who are a slightly below average team, and if they somehow manage to pull a miracle (would have to be a vintage Blake Bortles game to have a chance) and win their first game they of course would have exactly 0.0% of even keeping the game within two scores agains the pats or steelers.

Meanwhile in the nfc the worst team in the playoffs is probably the eagles, and that's JUST because of the backup qb, or maybe the falcons who just went to the super bowl last season.

It goes to show that the nfc has so many more good teams than the afc. It's not even close really. And yet, the two best teams in the afc are inarguably the two best in the nfl.

It's kind of a weird situation but the fact is the ravens would probably have a win or two less every year if they were in the nfc and the only reason teams like the ravens and bills are in the playoff discussion late in the season is because there are so many fewer good teams in that conference.

get a better qb

Where and why ?.....Joe wasn't the one that let a losing team drop a 40 yard bomb on them on a 4th and 12 and 3 players couldn't stop him from the end zone, that's on the D....He left the field with the lead....
Joe has never been great but how many qb's in the league can you honestly say are great ?????
I only know of 1, there are 2 more very good ones but the others are bad to slightly above mediocre or good....
Pees is gone, that's a major plus for the D....But Marty is still there for the time being, I don't expect he will be at the start of next season, but if he is, the first time he comes out vanilla, he's gone and someone already in place will step in....
I would have liked to seen Harbs gone too, really don't like that guy's stupid stubbornness and buddy system coaching....:gaah::gaah::gaah:

And imo Duff's has the best wings in Buffalo period.Yes, better than the Anchor Bar.

they had to, he had a great superbowl run, what were they gonna do

He did have a great run, one of the best ever. You would think players would have more heavy incentive laden contracts. Some seem to shit the bed once they get paid
