"Can't beat Eli so maybe I should just go coach him. At least I wouldn't have to put up with that tattletailing Brady whiner anymore nor look at his horseface wife."

Hey when does summer school start for Cheating Pete and his entire staff? The NFL doesn't like it when you don't follow their protocol. They can get an early start there's nothing on their schedule for the next few weeks.

Whenever you have articles with multiple sources it's hard to tell how much is true and how much of it overexaggerated.

I tend to not dismiss everything in the article because the Jimmy G trade always just seemed odd to me. He did Jimmy G a solid by sending him to the 9ers but he also did the 9ers a solid by just asking for a 2nd round pick. Even he had every intention of sending Jimmy G to the 9ers he still could've played coy and easily gotten more than just a 2nd from him. I'm not saying he would've gotten a 2 #1s or even a just one 1st but I'm pretty sure he could've gotten a 2nd and 3rd for him. The 9ers didn't hesitate to scoop him for a 2nd so that should tell you they would've paid more.

Which leads me to the other oddity in that the trade felt very last minute. It's not like they suddenly became aware that Jimmy G didn't want to back up Brady anymore so it just doesn't make sense that you wouldn't have been working the market a couple of days beforehand and start a bidding war for him and then ship him.

So the trade does make the most sense if Kraft did force Bill to make the trade. Because it felt like Bill had to do it he was going to do it on his own terms and try to put Jimmy G in a place where he could succeed so he could have the satisfaction of knowing he was right all along.
It also makes sense they were out of time. Instead of "possibly" getting more from someone in the AFC like an additional pick he moved him out of the conference so he wouldn't have to face him but once every four or five years.

Funny people everywhere say how smart BB is. What do you think he had a senior citizen moment and didn't get the most he could:doh:

Somewhat ironic and irrelevant.....those Steelers are by far much better than this Pat 'dynasty' but circumstances cut their Bowl run to 4. Bradshaw doesn't even crack the top 30 QB's for me, so he's just as irrelevant.

It's just easier in today's game for an 'elite' QB to win a SB than at any time in NFL history. Give him an equally good HC, and you have the Pats for the last 20 or so years. Neither of them are the greatest ever, but it is sure good for a laugh watching those explain why that is...

I'd put Belichick with any HC in NFL history. Brady probably doesn't crack the top 7 list for all time great QBs. He wasn't even the best QB on his own team for half the season this year.

So....what did you think of Belichick when he was with the Cleveland Browns? Or better yet....with the Patriots when he went 5-11 in 2000, and started 0-2 in 2001? It was just luck that Mo Lewis knocked out Drew Bledsoe to start the Brady era....and here we are.

I don't give a rats ass about Belichick and his 5 Super Bowls......when he alters the course of NFL history like a Tom Landry or Bill Walsh, then get back to me. He ain't in that league, period. Brady, even though I put more credit upon him for the success of the Pats....I can't put him at the top. Montana is without question the better QB.....Marino, Staubach...they're all there with Brady....so on and so on....

Wow, just listened to sports radio and Craft definitely overruled Belichick with Garoppolo.. Sounds like Brady saw Garoppolo as a bit of a threat ... I’m hearing Craft listened to Brady instead of the coach.... That’s not really smart

That best record doesn't mean dick come playoff time.

Agreed.

How often do franchises that are "burnt piles of rubble" go 13-3? Asking for a friend.

What I think of bill in his browns era is his best win total in Cleveland hasn't been matched since he left (11 wins in 1994).

When people use the term hater, I imagine this sitting at the keyboard.
