bennett should be gone, he doesnt have it anymore and his political BS isnt endearing.

I hope not. Use people like Bennett for picks

we have so many holes we need more picks. unless a cant miss guy is there, we probably trade out of the 1st entirely yet again.

Id consider Nelson "Cant miss" . Both Him and McGlinchy are one of the reasons that 33 Trucking (Josh Adams) was a heisman candidate

Since we don't have a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick I would like us to trade down into the 1st and draft Safety, Ronnie Harrison... Hard to imagine we won't trade down...

Looks good...

He would be a great replacement for Kam, assuming he retires... Plus, he's a much better cover safety, which would help against TE's... That was Kam's weakness...

Kinda weird to be picking in the middle of a round without trading into it. I agree that the Seahawks aren't likely to stay at 18 if they can get their hands on at least a 2nd and/or 3rd rounder for it. Obviously Kam's injury puts some uncertainty into the mix and makes it awfully tempting to grab a safety to replace him should be retire, but I think it's possible that McDougald played his way into a multi-year deal, so if Kam can't continue, the immediate need for a replacement might not be there. If they don't bring him back, then of course that'll be an area of concern, though I still think not the highest priority on that side of the ball.

The defensive line situation looks to me like the bigger priority at the moment, especially if Avril is forced to retire and Bennett decides he'd rather be playing somewhere else. Clark would need some help rushing the passer without those two. There were too many "almosts" and "not quites" when it came to rushing the passer this season as is. Getting that taken care of should make everyone else's job easier on defense.

On offense, it's getting more apparent that right tackle needs to be the focus when it comes to improving the offensive line. Yes, the Hawks will likely have to find a new left guard too, but Ifedi was a walking penalty this year and wasn't good enough when he wasn't committing penalties to be able to overlook when he did. Maybe a healthy Fant can relegate him to the bench or another team, but we'll have to wait-and-see on that. I had really hoped that they could find five guys at the beginning of the season to stabilize the line, but as has often been the case in the past decade, it looks like offensive line help is going to be a top priority again this off-season. An overhaul of the running back position wouldn't hurt either. Davis and Carson looked good when they were on the field, but it wasn't long ago that Rawls looked just as good and he seems to have completely fallen off a cliff since he returned from injury, so the Hawks will probably look to the draft for a running back too. A fullback wouldn't be a bad idea either.

I'm kinda sad we gave up our 2nd and 3rd picks, it's kinda hard to bring in good young talent that way... But like Seahawks fans are saying, I bet we trade down and get more picks, we seem to do that every year... UNLESS someone we really want is there... It's just kind of a bummer though, the year we don't make the playoff and can have a decent draft we #@$^ ing trade away a 2nd and 3rd ...

mcglinchey is highly overrated, he would fit right in on our team though, he wiffs way too much.

we may get a 7th for him or a ham sandwich
