LOL, I feel bad for Walsh, god bless the guy, but he's just not that good of a kicker, if he's even in the NFL next year I'd be surprised... As it sits the kick really didn't matter, but it could have ... WE NEED to get a better kicker next year, I can't even believe Pete rolled with Walsh for so long...

Well we had close to a top 10 kicker... who was 11th in FG % this season... instead we decided to sacrifice him for a guy who was a bottom 5 % kicker who attempted ONE 50 yard field goal and missed it... on a team where most of our money is locked up on D. Steven was tied for the most 50 yard field goals made this season only missing 2 of the attempts... and had to do it outside for 8 games instead of Matt Bryant in Atlanta.

Seattle's coaching staff and FO has gone full retard at this point. I dunno what else to say.

I dunno how Seattle even fixes their team atm. We locked up so much stupid money in our dumbass Legion of Overrated that we can't sign anything decent on the O-Line, we have a top 3 receiving TE in the NFL that we constantly ask to block, and no draft picks for next year, which we'd probably blow on small WRs or weird niche RBs anyway.

Yeah, we've swung and missed on some draft picks and free agent moves... It's a shame because the core is still strong, but we've weakened considerably with some moves...

No doubt in my mind Walsh was going to miss that

I agree.. I was sitting here with my wife and Dad, I was like it's coming down to Walsh, and he will miss it, mark it down.. And he came through... I actually felt bad for the guy, seriously...

Agreed... I had no confidence in him making that kick... If we don't, imagine how the players felt on that last kick... He'll see his pink slip first thing in the morning, if not tonight...

In the NFC, i'll be pulling for the Saints/Vikings to make the SB...

In the AFC, i'm pulling for the Steelers... Don't want to see New England represent again...

Fitting end. Had to lose it by that worthless kicker.

Do you know how many draft picks we move up from that loss... 9-7 should be somewhere in the top 15 maybe ?

I think it would have been 4...

Looks like we would've past LAC, BUF, TEN, BAL had we won...

The O has done nothing outside one drive
Some of you really won't ever learn what this game is about so it's a waste of time to keep trying. To you there is but one component to winning: It's 100000% offense and ALL of the blame on bad offense is purely the OC. It's so utterly stupid there is no real way to combat it.

Something that I noticed. We had little pass rush and no sacks. We had stanton running for his life and we had 0 sacks.

We need a Pass rush specialist at OLB in the draft

Blair Walsh's blown kicks cost us 3 wins, including today.

Zero surprise. Seattle signed one of the worst kickers this year. Walsh was below 80%, meanwhile the guy who kicked just fine for us (Hauschka) was 7-9 with 50+ yard field goals and STILL with that ridiculous metric was a top 12 FG % kicker.

But that makes sense... let's go ahead and cheapen up on the special teams, when we are spending 70% of our payroll on defense and have a completely shit offense. Makes sense!

I blame this non playoff season entirely on the coaching staff and FO. All the way down to leaving Jimmy fucking Graham in to block on running plays. Sure we finished 9-7... but we had a fairly cupcake schedule with favorable times on home/away games... given the talent on the team, it should've been a cake walk to 12-4. You let Jared Goof (Goof was intentional) take the division over? LOL. Whatever.

I'd say whatever, let's move on to next season, but we have no draft picks and Duane Brown/Richardson are probably thinking, "Whatever, just collect a paycheck" at this point.

I agree things need to change on Offense. What snuggy needs to realize that our defense played the exact same.

Or were you guys watching Stanton run around and we God damn let him

The money spent on that fat shit Lacy could have went to Haush, but instead needed a scape goat from last season so blamed Haush and let him walk. How did it work out??? 3 games lost because of a shitty kicker.
