Absolutely spot on. I think some adjustments are due, but we have had solid leadership.

we won because the D showed up, the offense was again totally anemic.

There really is no pleasing you and your blind ilk. I might suggest a different hobby. This one brings you no joy.

Why should fans be ashamed of themselves? They are after all paying the salaries of these NFL players even if all they do is watch the game on TV. Fan participation is what drives all sports.

Growing up in the Seattle area, I remember people generally had low expectations of the Seahawks. It always seemed the best Seattle could do was get 9 wins and hope to slip into playoffs and they didn't even get that far most seasons. Meanwhile people always had high expectations of the UW football team and they were much more competitive.

Now fan's expectations are higher than ever since the Seahawks have made a few Super Bowl appearances. If Sherman thinks its rough in Seattle, he should avoid playing for the Steelers or Packers where fans expect the teams to make deep playoffs runs every year. Fan's with higher expectation = better success for sports franchise.

Examples of teams whose fans fans have high expectations:
-New York Yankees
-Boston Celtics
-LA Lakers
-Boston Celtics
-Ohio State Buckeyes
-Alabama Crimson Tide
-LA Dodgers
-SF Giants
-St. Louis Cardinals

Examples of teams whose fans have low expectations:
-Cleveland Browns
-Miami Dolphins
-Tampa Bay Devil Rays
-Milwaukee Bucks
-Seattle Mariners
-Detroit Lions

If Sherman can't handle the heat from fans he should come work a day job with the rest of us. But even our clients expect our best work and they pay a lot less as well.

High expectations come AFTER success. They are not the cause. Low expectations are natural after long runs of futility. All of us that are M's fans know that one well. The mood of the fans do not drive the bus, they are a reaction to what the team has already done and nothing more.

Snuggles, I've never read a single positive thing from you. Not in all of your time here. Not one. This isn't just about being frustrated with sputtering offenses. You flat out just aren't ever happy about anything. And you are entirely obsessive about your perception of the problem. You really do need a new hobby. Badly.

I disagree with Sherm there are guys getting paid way to much money to under perform and the Seahawks are charging fans an arm and a leg like they are a super bowl team. Either the narrative are that we are a super bowl team or a team that should be grateful to be relevant which one is it? @Guywithtoaster said it best there is a big difference in mindset between franchises like the Yankees or lakers than that of the Dolphins or Lions

Supply and demand will dictate the cost of a ticket. You seem to being implying that the Seahawks should sell tickets for less then what fans are willing to pay.

That's what happens when 69% of the salary is on the defensive side and 31% on the offensive... Easy to do the math on this one, no?

Well a lot of tickets are purchased ahead of time before the out come of how well the team performs. When people like myself who paid $275 for nose bleed seats I'm expecting a competitive performance because I thought like many others that the narrative was that this team was one of the best in the league. If we aren't and we should be happy with a 10-6 season and getting bounced in the first round then make that clear to the fans. If they still pay the prices that's great for the seahawks but its a crime if those prices are on the same level as the patriots or steelers

Never any guarantees on how a game goes. If feel you paid to much no need to go twice. IDK what the ticker prices are for the Pats and Steelers, likely higher, if you can get one.
