It's such a fun time, getting to see who goes where. I'm also anticipating the 2018 Hall of Fame vote in January to see which guys get in the Hall. Will Vlad Guerrero make it in this year? Let's see.

I don't think there is much doubt he and Hoffman get in. Hoffman missed by 5 votes and Vlad missed by 15. The last guy to get 70%+ of the vote, and not get in the next year was Jim Bunning in 1988/1989.

He probably won't hit like he did in 2016, but I think his bat will rebound (Steamer projects a 96 wRC+ in 2018, it was 78 in 2017). Even if he's just league average offensively, that still makes him a nice utility infielder and god knows they'll need one with Travis and Tulo.

I like it for the Jays, all they gave up was a 22-year-old corner OF prospect that hit just .240/.320/.378 and struck out 37.8% of the time in A ball.

2018 Jays ZiPS projections are out

ZiPS is pretty high on Bichette and Vlad Jr., projecting them to be almost average offensively despite the fact that they're under 20 and haven't even played at AA.

Vlad Jr. and Bichette are both going to be good. I figure within the next 5-7 yrs. those 2 guys are going to be the top producers for Toronto.

Anyone know what position Jeter will have in the Yankee front office? Director of Player Personnel? Or will they wait until Jeter trades Ozuna and Yelich to the Yanks for a AA catcher and the Staten Island Yankees' bat boy?

Trading Headley to make room for Machado next off-season? As to the Red Sox, I think they target Hosmer or Moustakos from Kansas City as free agents.

He's done some fine work turning around a team that looked like death just two years ago.....

it's a remarkable turnaround. I think it was very well deserved and the Yanks are in a great position to win for probably the better part of the next decade. Maybe longer.
