Heard they are willing to give up some pitching prospects. Two things bother me about this . We need a major league starter to consider trading our lead off guy. Trading him within our division is not wise.
Plus here is a 3rd reason, we do not have another guy to lead off if Hernandez is gone. Rather trade
Galvis if we have to. However, messing with the rebuild can be dangerous. I prefer to be a little patient right now. After all, we do have the money to sign a pitcher or two.

We have a leadoff hitter. One of the best. Case closed. It’s time to continue building the team.
Agree. I am pissed that they are shopping him when he is a big part in the rebuild.

One of the better known strategies among all of pro sports GMs is when to trade and when to hold what you already have developed. The Phillies have been particularly bad in this subtle art for some time and the results on the field are evident. I am with you two guys. Now is the time to hold especially when it concerns Hernandez. We sure as hell do not need to be stocking competitors from our division especially the Muts!!!
