Just maybe we can send out the seniors, players not Riley, on a positive note. Keeping him around clearly isn’t doing a goddamn thing so why the fuck not can his ass now
i don't really see the point of canning him now. maybe there is some plan of retirement or something at year end. plus i'd rather have Riley at HC then hand the reigns to DL or Diaco as interim HC.

I remember when I went to school at Nebraska there was a raccoon on campus that was tame. It would walk right up to you and want you to pet it. I always thought that was pretty impressive for a wild animal to be that tame around a bunch of strangers.

Anyways, my point is, I'd rather hand the reigns over to that raccoon than spend anymore time with Riley standing on the sideline looking like he just suffered a stroke.

I don’t see the point in keeping him either, the team has completely given up on Riley. With the Dec early signing period it could be a big deal with the kids who are wondering wtf is going on, maybe they would like to know ASAP if the coach of the #1 rated offense is coming to Lincoln vs the bullshit we are witnessing every Sat now.

I’d rather see what this retarded raccoon can do vs MR

I think Riley is going to retire and that is why they are not canning him now. It will look a lot better for the university if he "retires" and they don't have to fire him. IMO.

Wasn't there a player that got attacked by a raccoon at one time - damn my memory escapes me now.

They could beat PSU and Iowa handily and I wouldn't be close to sold at this point. The offensive playcalling, the run defense, the offensive line, the lack of physicality, shitty blitz packages, D-ends getting pushed around, Tanner Lee running the zone read. Cot damn, every time they call a zone read play, it goes for negative yardage, and I kick my dog.

More than this, there's a HUGE culture problem that can easily be returned to Nebraska but ONLY with some old-school experience and accountability, which I think Frost is more than capable of doing.

We have good athletes, we just don't have coaches to coach them and get them motivated to play for this program. Look at what frost did at UCF... They had athletes, too.

So no... I've sold my stock and I'm running for the hills.

ha, beat PSU and Iowa handily. that's hilarious, i practically fell out of my chair. with what they showed against Minnesota on stopping the run, i just hope they don't give up 600 yds rushing to each of those teams.

The best thing about the Penn St game is it will be played in Happy Valley. Penn St will have it's full roster on their sideline so when it gets out of hand they'll be able to sub their scrubs liberally. If it were in Lincoln they'd be limited to their travel squad.
The question is can the Huskers stop Penn St's walk-on's?

Don't be a window licker.... My point is not to say that's in any way expected. I'm saying that even in the most unlikely case that it happened, I would still send him packing.

I do wish him the best. He is a classy guy. For whatever reasons it certainly didn't work out here and I hope he will be the first to admit it.
